what makes you think we have cat hair? ha. the vacuum bag does fill up fast at my lair. Have to enjoy the roses, too. and not always take the litter box view. lol...
I do nothing to them. ... the really do live up to their name. i don't even feed them! ha. I wonder what would happen if I did!? I bet I've had them 10 years now...and I have cut them back, which I think makes them bloom more. I don't cover them in the winter, either.
Aren't they? Thought I better take pictures when they looked so good. Some years the japanese beetles eat them up and they are due here in a few weeks. hate those things....
Hi Betsy - gosh I'm moving in!!! They look just wonderful and so beautiful. I love that ice-cream pink and against your white clapperboard (is that the right word) walls ... the side of the house looks just stunning. Love the photos .. I was in London briefly yesterday and walked past a fluffy pink rose bush with the most beautiful scent .. love this time of year ..
Cheers - that cheered me up! beautiful and today is yet again gloomy! Hilary
I love your georgeous new header, Betsy! And I love this abundance of roses at your beautiful house! In my garden all my old fashioned roses in every shade of pink and purple burst into bloom now, too. The beauty of nature is so overwhelming in June and I will spend my Sunday inmidst it. How lucky I am... Have a nice Sunday, too Christel
What a glorious shade of pale pink. They remind me of roses that bloomed all along the side of our driveway when I was a child, but they were called Princess Margaret.
I can just imagine walking along and getting a whiff of them. Even if they don't have a fragrance, the site of a whole row of pick delights, is wonderful.
Hi Betsy...love your new header...and the pink roses are divine! What a great way for the Mr to spend Fathers Day!! haha! I an just see Alex's face...as the "crack" happened! We did that at the cottage...in our old 1920's bed! In the middle of the night once....TOO funny!
Aren't they? I wish I could see them from inside the house....but driving down the driveway along that side (our garage is in the back) looks very nice! ha.
I SOOOOOOO miss my Carefree Delight Roses from the next street over from your place. I CANNOT even LOOK in the direction of our old home I get SO SAD at how it looks now...my roses are GONE along with all of our YEARS of careful yard work....everyone has different priorities!
Beautiful photos Betsy, just love how in bloom they are and the colours.
