Every first of May, I celebrate with the tradition of
taking off the flannel bed sheets and putting on the light
set for spring and summer.
Jack helps me make the bed every morning!
And when he saw that there was going to be a photo shoot, too,
he was all too willing to pose!
♥

DeleteOur temperatures have been up-and-down; I took off the flannel sheets a couple of weeks ago. For the most part, I've not regretted that decision.

ReplyDeleteyes, it is! Hope you're enjoying some warm breezes, too!
DeleteAs wonderful as flannel sheets feel during the winter, switching to regular sheets in the spring is one of my favorite things, along with being able to have the windows open! We've been having beautiful weather here in NW PA and I'm thoroughly enjoying it. And my cats love to help when I'm making the bed too -- silly creatures!
ReplyDeleteIt's one of my favorite things to do, too! I like traditions like that! I guess it's a pet kind of thing to do...jump on the bed when it's being made! haha.
DeleteWhat a ham that cute Jack is!
ReplyDeleteHe really is...he sure brightens my days....always up to something!
DeleteHi Betsy .. I wonder who loves clean sheets more .. ?? Jack I suspect he has longer to lounge around - lucky Master Jack .. he does take a fine photo though .. cheers Hilary
ReplyDeletewell, you do have a point there. haha.
DeleteWhat a cute guy Master Jack is! And he definitely likes the sensation of spring sheets , too. - Thank you, Betsy for your tender words in behalf of Mimi´s death, which was not peaceful at all. I think this will somehow cast a melancholical spell over the first of May forever for me. But nevertheless I would not have missed the acqaintance of this precious little cat for everything (you can see her picture on my blog, if you want). Mimi´s sad story teaches me, to try to give even more love and caring, wherever I can ...
