I was out and about today and saw this goose taking a nap.
He was right in the drive into a parking lot.
Not exactly the most peaceful of places to sleep!
But he didn't even flinch when I drove past!
I, for one, am thankful I don't have to try to sleep while
balancing on one leg! My parakeets do this, too! ha!
And this concludes the A to Z Challenge! Yay!
Back to plain old random stuff from me starting tomorrow! ha.
It's been fun to take this challenge along with
1700 other bloggers for the second year in a row!
And I made a few new friends along the way, which
is really what it's all about!
♥
ha, that's a multi tasking goose! Some people (including me at times) have a hard time sleep in bed let alone standing on one foot in a parking lot!! lol
ReplyDeletegotta be a female, right? ha. She probably had dinner in the oven and a load of wash going while she was there. :)
Deletewell done on your task and thats quite a shot!
ReplyDeleteI started to walk in the building for my appointment, and then went back to grab my camera. I never thought he'd still be sleeping!
DeleteThat can't be a comfortable way to sleep
ReplyDeleteMust sure sleep deep
And he does it willingly too
Unlike someone who is screwed up at their zoo haha
And speaking of which
Did you even twitch?
And want to add him to your
Zoo like shore? lol
haha...I could have grabbed him from behind
Deleteand brought him to the zooland sublime!
Or maybe if I had just given him an invitation,
he would have jumped in my jeep without hesitation!
hahahaha.
Yes, SOME of us sleep like that.
Or sit on donut pillows and squash them flat. lol.
haha is kind of squashed a bit
DeleteI blame that on Cassie as that is where she likes to sit
He just might have hopped in
Although the cats would prob scare him from your bin
I don't know, he was bigger than them!
DeleteThey could have put a saddle on him
and gone for a ride
on his backside.
haha.
umm...the road is probably not the best place to take a nap...you might want to wake him...ha
ReplyDeleteHe did finally wake up as I walked by.
DeleteAnd he grunted...not sure why! ha.
Congrats on completing the challenge!
ReplyDeleteI can't believe he could stay sleeping in that position and on the side of the road. Crazy!
You'd think he'd fall over! ha.
Deletei'll bet you could sleep on one leg if you had to!
ReplyDeletewell, I'm still glad I don't have to! :)
DeleteI've enjoyed your "A to Z" posts :-)
ReplyDeleteMe, too,...but I'm glad it's over, too! ha.
DeleteOf all the letters, which one was your favorite?
ReplyDeleteWill you do it again next year?
M is for Moon with the Jim Brickman song. :)
DeleteIm.sure you think in him to your zoo;)))
ReplyDeletehaha...I wonder if he would have been happy here! :)
DeleteAbsolutely!
DeleteAnd anyway one more isn't care lol
That is so true! What's one more? lol....
DeleteWhy would you sleep standing? I just don't get that. Must be some kind of genetic malfunction.
ReplyDeletehahaha....doesn't look very comfortable, does it!
DeleteHi Betsy .. amazing to see the goose sleeping on one leg ... strange but true! It is definitely time for some Zzzsleeping and some catch up .. cheers and I'll be back to see your postings, the cats, the boys and those antiquey wonders you pick up .. Hilary
ReplyDeleteyes, back to the 'normal' posting. ha.
Delete:) ha.
ReplyDeleteSometimes you just need a nap.....doesn't matter where you are. hahaha
ReplyDeleteGood job Betsy...
ReplyDeleteBet you are glad it is over!! hahaha!
I don't think I could manage a post a day for each letter...
You pulled it off again!!!
Enjoy this Spring day!!
Cheers!
Linda :o)
Congratulations on completing A-Z. Again. It was very entertaining, and I enjoyed every entry.
ReplyDeleteYay for finishing the A-Z!!!!! And what a finish!! Awwww that goose looks like it's too tired to care where or how it naps! LOL! Take care
