O Is For Oatmeal

Have you ever noticed that some nouns also described that object's color?
Oatmeal is like that.  Oatmeal is a food and a color.
I have an oatmeal colored sweater!
Orange is like that.  So is peach, wine, and sapphire.
They are a type of homonym...words that are spelled
and pronounced the same but have different meanings.
Can you think of any?
How about olive?

  1. I like oatmeal - both the color and the food. I also love chocolate. The color is good, the candy is better!
