How to Relax on a Weekend...

...according to the boys. :)

  1. Get up extremely early.  None of this sleeping in, like you do on school days!
  2. Stay in your pj's all day.
  3. Leave the bedhead.
  4. Drag your pillows and comforters to the TV room and camp out on the floor.
  5. Leave dirty dishes and papers strewn around.
  6. Watch a DVD on the TV and Youtube movie clips on the laptop at the same time.  I mean, if they are both about trains, it's ok, right?
  7. Crank up your old CD player...a train song, preferably.
  8. Lounge there all day, only getting up when necessary.
  9. Let out lots of giggles and thoroughly enjoy yourselves.

Spencer and Harry, here, looking like they do every weekend. :)
I'm just glad they aren't in the living room! ha.
Would you believe Nugget loves to lounge in there with them?
I think Spencer is blocking him from the picture.
He likes to lay by the warmth of the laptop. lol.
And yeah, I see the broken window blind.
And yeah, I did replace it just last year.  Sigh.

  5. Oh that sure looks like my "living" room, when my grandsons spend the weekend. Wish I had a room just for them. But it's worth having them over, but I can send them home.

Love this little insight into your weekend. And how cute that Nugget likes to hang out with them.

  9. I like to visit my local pub and catch up with the weeks news from all my friends (both of them!). It is a typical English country pub where all the local farmers, smallholders, market gardeners and horse riders meet on Sunday lunchtimes. The bar food the landlady lays on is out of this world. Take a look here. I took this video before the crowds arrived and it all disappeared!
