Love this picture! I thought of you tonight. My daughter came home from work saying there were 3 young kittens hanging around the parking lot, looking scared and hungry. Apparently others have seen them before. She put out water and stopped to get some kitten food for them. Sound like someone else I know? I'm glad she's helping them, but they can't come home with her. :)
Hi, Jean! I agree...they are so very cute! I've watched quite a few kittens grow up this past year! And yes..they sunflower farm is just about 10 minutes away from my home!
Isn't that fun? I was thinking, this is the third litter I've watched from my back door. Mom has a special sounding call..not a meow but a throaty call just for them...and when she does it, they immediately take notice and follow. She must be saying, "Dinner time! Follow me!" haha.
Oh, they are so cute. They remind me of the little herd of kittens that used to run through our house in the middle of the night. Seven running, frolicking kittens is a fun sound. A gift from back before I started counting them. :)
aw...seven? Yes, galloping through the house,....I know that sound well! Funny, I was thinking today that even with me claiming 14 now with this new litter, there are never that many here all in one day...and never all at one time. Maybe 5-6 at a time. I just mentioned today that there are several I haven't seen in a few days. I wonder where they get off to...but they always come back hungry and tired. ha.
I was thinking today that I need to do a post soon about them. When they get off the bus, it's a whirlwind of activity until they drop in bed around 10:00. School is going well...there just hasn't been anything of interest to write a post on! And it would help if they liked posing for the camera! lol...
It just hit me one day when I was reading your post and saw their pictures on the sidebar, and thought Oh my....I miss the boys..like they were my own....Don't you know us bloggers are very possessive of your three. Glad school is going well. I know your home has to be a whirlwind, and I treasure that you have time to post anything. Sending love and hugs

DeleteI saw a very large black cat skulking through my flowerbeds at dusk tonight. I hope he/she caught the nuisance chipmunks for a bedtime snack!
