I thought so, too...I love the way they stand tall and fill out the basket! they must have watered them every day to look so nice during this hot summer!
Bethany has an old bicycle she plans on using in a garden too, but I think maybe it needs a brighter paint job. I wonder if she knows how to use spray paint.

Love these charming old houses around our little town too. And I've always been intrigued with old bicycles in the garden. I have an old rusted one in my own flower bed as a matter of fact! Right now it's covered by a thick blanket of morning glories! Can hardly see the bicycle.
Kind of a "rustic Americana" thing goin' for it, huh?

ReplyDeletehaha...I'm sure she could figure it out. You'd have to tape off all the parts you didn't want to paint, though...but it would look great!
