  8. I don't think it was the sun; I think that magical things just happen when Betsy is near.

  14. You truly do see food with an artist's eye. I think I would have just looked at it and kept on going to the next group of apples. Really a nice picture to show the beauty of the sun and plants.

You know it is funny how I think seeing those flat fields full of flowers is so beautiful and I am not sure if you have seen the few pics I have posted of my view from my front yard. I look north and see Mt. Baldy and then if I look east I see Big Bear Mountain. Big Bear is where Arrowhead Spring Water comes from. And if I drive south just a bit then we see what we call hills which are little, little mountains. It is about a 20 minute drive to get to the base of either mountain, I guess I live pretty much in the middle but then another 20 minute drive and we will be on the back side of Mt.Baldy. Really cool in that area because it is like being in a forest, okay it is a forest. The really bad thing is that when we have the big fires out here then it means we worry, really worry. Last time the fires came within 3 miles of us, which meant my views were just of orange fires at night and smoke during the day. My brothers house was barely saved and we know others whose was not. Because we have not had any big fires for a few years it means that these beautiful mountains are just filling up with more and more fuel. Which means that the next big fires will be BIG. We are about to enter that season soon and the Santa Ana's will start. I live just below the pass and every year it is like the Big Bad Wolf trying to blow our houses down. It is a howling good time here, not!

I guess that there is beauty everywhere and by sharing pictures we get to share the beauty. I think I need to charge my camera and actually start using it. It is just so easy to use the cell phone camera and maybe I just need to start using it too. LOL, I am so lazy.

    God bless.

    1. I looked today and it isn't there....it was a unique moment in sunlight and breeze. I'm glad I didn't miss it!

Your mountains sound lovely....yes, our country is gorgeous no matter where you are...just in different ways. I hope the wild fires miss you ...well, and miss everyone. It would be great to have enough rain to wipe them out!
