nice....did you create the texture in the background or is that the weave of the page? if you did, very good....lovely pic, really like the bright colors betsy...love the quote that goes with it as well...
Hello! So glad to see you here at Sunday Sketches! This quote is truly beautiful....and so right on. love the illustration you came up with too...... HUGS
I think he's happy to have escaped! ha. Thanks, dear. The other day I came across that sweet little drawing you did of my triplets. Aw...thanks again for that. :)
We have tried a lot of supplements, though not Glutamine. Many times side effects are relatively easy to spot but the benefits are harder, as it may take more time for them to emerge. Are Spencer and Alex on it, too?
Yes, they are all three on it. I stumbled across this article, written by a lady who has autism and who takes 2000 mgs per day of glutamine. It sounded worth a try..
We started at a lower dose, of course, and plan to increase it. Yes, benefits can be hard to spot. It's such a puzzle we're trying to put together! Sigh.. :)
I'm still struggling with commenting on three of my favorite blogs. Yours is one of them. I like that this bird has his freedom and enjoys his "cage" only as a safe haven. :)
So happy to have found your blog and your drawing is such a delight.... love the quote as well... really liked that what is happening now list as well... great addition to your blog...xx
Free as a bird could be used But then the bird might get confused Me comparing a bird to a bird Is just absurd haha But looks happy to be free Better just avoid chirping to loud and alerting a kitty haha
Great painting Betsy and what a talented 'birdie' you are LOL I like it that the canary is free to come and go whenever he pleases and that is why he sings I expect. But what if you had drawn a tiger - would the door be open, I wonder? LOL
Thanks for your visit and I replied that we are not attending the Olympics this time - I am much too fast for them on the track and want to give the youngsters a chance!! LOL. Actually I am very keen to watch track and field on the goggle box. Just imagine our public transport being so bad and supposing we had paid to watch the 100 meters final!! 9.5 seconds and wooosh! It's over!! and we are still on the M25 LOL. Much better to watch it on the telly!! LOL
haha...silly man. Yes, I suppose you are right...that is a lot of trouble for 9.5 seconds. :) Watching on TV is so much more enjoyable...not to mention you get to see 40 minutes worth of commercials every hour! lol.... :)
Welcome to SS, Betsy. Do hope you enjoy the fun. Your bird cage is darling and love the yellow birdie. :) Sorry for the delay...as you've read, I've been quite ill.
Thanks, Alex. I guess I didn't realize who you were until today looking through your blog. I feel like I know you! ha. Of all the art co-ops to join and I pick yours. Quite amazing, actually. Thanks for your kind comment. Glad you're feeling a bit better. :)
In the middle of my comment, it disappeared, so if you see half a comment you will know why! I love this little yellow bird and it does remind me of you! I am just not blogging as much since i went private, but I so appreciate your visits when I do! God bless you! ;)
haha...I haven't seen a half comment floating around yet. :) I miss you blogging! Maybe you could open your up to public again? Just don't use any full names of your kiddos and I think you'll be fine. :)
I love your drawings, they are so colourful and inviting, have you ever thought about illustrating children's books? ;) Hope you will have a lovely week, xoxo
