    1. I know~ haha...we love salad..and so easy to make with dinner. I buy a mix of lettuces already cut and washed..a big box of them..and then I've been adding sliced strawberries, blueberries, praline pecans, shredded white cheddar cheese, vidalia onion, fresh peas, rice noodles and a little dressing. So yummy. Every night I serve something different with it...grilled meat or pizza. Sounds like summer, doesn't it?

    2. just be careful not to spill the peas in the drawer! haha

    7. If we want to eat in the morning, I usually have the dough in the refrigerator overnight to rise.
Then it doesn't take so long in the morning. Yum. I want one now! ha.

Someone had a good looking lemon cake on the blogs I saw today. It had lemon zest and thawed lemonade concentrate in it. Did you bake your cake yet?

    1. The funny thing is...I spilled them on the counter...and cleaned it all up. It wasn't until later in the day that I opened the drawer and saw this! I didn't even realize they had rolled into the drawer! lol.

  7. I guess they spilled....I was thinking someone had a funny way to suggest peas for dinner. HaHa. Better than spilling an egg or applsauce huh?

I love summer salads, and putting fruit and nuts...just makes it a treat. Today I was bad and had a dish of vanilla ice cream covered with blackberries and (yes, a little sugar)...Oh my, all it needed was crust to be a berry cobbler.

    Sending love...

    1. haha..yes, they spilled. But nobody would have asked for peas...it would have been more likely that they hid their serving in the drawer! haha.

Berries over icecream...yum! I have icecream and peach/blueberry crisp...then ran on the treadmill. :)

  11. Hi Betsy .. I'm sure you cleaned your drawers recently?! Them boys were obviously trying their luck before the peas got to plate .. hopefully they're in the drawer unbuttered? Kidz ...

  15. oh wow, seems like a metaphor for my life lol I do find it intriguing though, how did those peas get in there…a mystery. This type of thing happens around here a lot actually, but more like putting the salt and pepper shakers, or keys in the refrigerator, or the OJ in the cupboard, stuff like that happens here and there and it makes you wonder how it got there, of course blaming everyone else in the house before admitting it was your own doing lol
