I love it when I see contrail Xs in the sky!
An X can be a kiss, a spot for hidden treasure or a symbol to make a wish. Not wanting to waste this great big X above my house, naturally, I made a wish and took it's picture!
Maybe someone was sending me a little love today!
I've joined the A to Z Challenge for the month of April!
We're celebrating the letter X all day Friday, the 27th.
And this is also the perfect photo to join in with Sky Watch Friday!
They celebrate gorgeous skies from all over the world at the end of every week!
♥
so nice Betsy, amazing but something happens me when I open the site, the pictures are more big?
ReplyDeleteyes, I made them bigger. Are they too big?
Deleteon your phone I'm sure they are too big, but what about your computer?
DeleteIm in the computer, dont worry look so nice, only I think something happens is :)
DeleteOK..good. I didn't want it to look bad. I seemed to have so much empty space on the sides and wanted to make my photos larger, so I fiddled with the widths in my template.
DeleteHave you had a nice day? I've had a terrible headache~ ugh.
poor dear, I hate headaches:( try to rest early I had a lovely day I was in the Library a lot of time many times I didnt go!
DeleteOh, that sounds like fun! Is everyone well now?
Deleteyes thanks. Betsy the only porblem I think, the pictures are amazing and beauty but your sidebar look a little far, but you can see tomorrow, not today with your headache
DeleteOK...thanks. Just so it's not falling off the screen. :) I did have to make the sidebar more narrow.
Deleteyes so we can see your sidebar more close
DeleteVery nice, That's a great photo. and here I was thinking everyone would be doing X-rays and Xylophones lol. I like the x as a symbol, typically as the Cross, which is very interesting here, as the lines in the photo are in the sky, so it's much closer to Heaven than everyone on Earth is, so perhaps a little love was sent to you indeed. Thanks
ReplyDeleteyeah, I'm sure there will be a lot of those...X was a little more difficult! I almost did the roman numeral 10. Like your thoughts here about the x being close to heaven and some love sent my way. What a beautiful picture your words painted...and great with my photo! :)
DeleteI'm sure at least one person was sending you some, doll... :)
ReplyDeleteWell, I can't imagine who you mean. ha.
DeleteYou need to narrow up your blog width....half of it is off the page...
ReplyDeletebut.....on the other hand...your photo is beautiful...love sky-watching...imagining the clouds are shapes of things...I did a post on clouds early in the year...I get a lot of nice shots at the cottage...
Hope you enjoyed your day...
Cheers!
Linda :o)
it's all on my screen just fine! I'll have to fiddle with it.
Deletefixed!!
Deleteok...good! :)

ReplyDeleteThis reminds me of it's a mad, mad, mad, mad world! Oh wait, that was a W, wasn't it??
ReplyDeleteGorgeous picture!! :)
haha...so true. Maybe I'll do Y the same way and it can just be a mad week! lol...
DeleteBetsy now is absolutely OK I can see perfect the pictures and your sidebar:)))
ReplyDeleteOK...good...I changed it a little. :) thanks.
DeleteLook perfect!
DeleteWow that must mean there is treasure at your sea
ReplyDeleteFind it and share with glee
Employee all the cats to dig a big hole
I'm sure they'll get on a roll
And find it in no time
Then we can use the empty chest to stuff in a mime
Bury it back up
And you can buy a golden coffee cup
lol...are you drinking whatever I was drinking last night?
Deleteyes, you know I'd share with you
if a pot of gold ever came due.
Maybe you could get yourself out of the stone surround
and buy yourself some forest ground.
I bet the cats could dig to china
if they thought some catnip I was hiding.
lol.
Buy a golden cup, I can
and you would buy a golden Pringles can.
haha no poo would go in that one
DeleteFor the cat wouldn't touch the gold that was spun
Yeah I think I am indeed
Or just inhaling the fumes from 14 cats at the other feed..haha
They probably wouldn't know what to do
If the outside came into view
Orlin jumps ten feet into the air
At each sound in our lair
Prob have a heart attack out there
Still the stone being rare
Would be nice
So tell the cats to forget the mice
And start digging away
Even call some local mutts to your bay
And they will find it soon
By tomorrow at noon
are you on vacation again?
DeleteThat's got to be some kind of sin.
I'll report back at noon
you silly loon.
I'll tell them to dig for Pat,
Orlin and Cass.
They need a change in scenery
as bush #3 is loosing it's greenery.
Just a day of vacation at my sea
DeleteAnd it is the first used this year by me
Have to save a few
For my US view..haha
Okay I expect big things
From your wings
Like the treasue from that Nic Cage movie
That would be really groovie
As it is worth billions if not more
Could truly buy your own shore
Yep, and you better save your pennies
Deleteso you can tip the mimes in the city.
lol...oh, yes, it had to be said.
a treasure that big?
oh, maybe I better help dig!
lol.
tell nanny and the felines hello
hope the dog doesn't bellow.
Keep Orlin away from his tail
or his yelps will surely set sail!
Tipping mimes will never come due
DeleteThat blabber can do
They better stay from my view
Or I may step on the toes of a few..haha
Yes dig away
At your bay
The sky
Does not lie
Orlin has yet to bother with him
But he has made the life of a few cats grim..haha
I'm sure lots of love was flowing your way today. Lovely sky and being above your home is a special treat!
ReplyDeleteI hope so...I need it!
Deleteyes, I always think it's fun when they are right above me like that!
x marks the spot...and you do realize that is how the government seeds the mind control drugs right...in the contrails...looks like they have you targetted...smiles....
ReplyDeletehaha...oh no! A big bullseye right over my house! I'm doomed! lol... You know that means you're next, right?
Deletethe x was marking the spot above you where the angel on the bottom right side was to come to watch over you :) takes a bit of imagination (mine is active and vivid, ha) it's robe goes down over the trees, the sun it's body and the rest is up to your imagination. :)
ReplyDeleteand the rays are it's wings! I see it! How very clever of you! :)
Deleteyou see it too! :) yay!
DeleteI really do! See, you aren't so crazy! Or maybe I'm just crazy, too! lol...
Delete'crazy' is more fun than normal. keeps things interesting. lol - many times I've grabbed the camera and rushed outside to take pics of the sky. the kids never say anyhting, but maybe they wonder at times. ha - my sister took a photo of one above her house several years ago that was plainly visible!
Deleteoh, I agree...normal is so boring! ha.
DeleteExcellent shot! I always like seeing these in the sky!
ReplyDeleteMe, too! So fun!
DeleteBeautiful capture.
ReplyDeleteSydney - City and Suburbs
thanks, jim! and it's good to see you again!
Delete"X" and "O"...lovely thoughts.
ReplyDeletemost certainly! :)
DeleteI love contrails, a lot of people think they're pollution but they're just water vapor! It's awesome how that method of transportation can create such beautiful sky patterns and textures.
DeleteOh, I do, too! Sometimes if they stay in the sky a good while there can be lots of them to make a really neat pattern. If the sun sets and they turn pink, then it's even better! ha.
DeleteOops, didn't mean to submit that as a reply haha... oh well.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous! Have a great weekend!
ReplyDeleteSky Shots at my page.

Sorry I went for breakfast (just now I can eat) Im OK. Im glad you feel fine.
DeleteRex is the same and is hard because we haveto give him medicines all days and care him, until this moment he is eating OK.
But worry me the winter. yesterday at nigh we had storm and rain, finally, look like winter arrived.
Love omelttes, you will have for dinner, Im thinking in make a soup for lunch, the kids love it
DeleteI'm glad he's eating...that's a good sign, anyway!

DeleteI see your leaves are turning colors and falling...so pretty!
Deleteoh you see Betsy? The liquidambars are really beautiful, today storm and winds, who knows how will be tomorrow!
DeleteWhat a gorgeous capture! Also the sun streaming through the trees reflects almost angelic.
ReplyDeleteI see that, too! Just an added bonus to the picture! ha.
DeleteI hadn't thought about making a wish when I see them in the sky. I do love to see them all sharp and crisp at first, then fading to pretty puffy dots.
ReplyDeleteGot me. I also enjoy watching clouds and seeing the designs they make. :-)
