A flock of Starlings flew in for seed this afternoon. This one especially caught my eye. He had three times the numbers of stars in his feathers, not to mention, his face being covered with them! I thought he was beautiful! He posed nicely, too! I loved how his feet still have snow stuck to them!
♥
Another beautiful shot, doll. You're really outdoing yourself lately!
ReplyDeleteEh, the snow on the feet makes me glad I'm not a bird. :) Excellent shot. Did you check out my snow pics?
ReplyDeleteThanks, Silver. :)
ReplyDeleteRebecca ~ no...haven't yet...going there now... Glad you got your camera charged up! ha.
He's a beauty! Great shot!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photo, Betsy!
ReplyDeleteGreat shot, Betsy! He's really beautiful.
ReplyDeleteStunning photograph! Love it!
ReplyDeleteGreat shot indeed
ReplyDeleteDid that one take 50 to get at your feed?..lol
They sorta look like little white hearts on his feathers there too
Or maybe I'm just seeing things out of the blue
Pat ~
ReplyDeleteIt does look like hearts, that is true
How observant of you!
Do you have Starlings there in N.S.
or just loons there at your nest?
Only one picture I took
Got lucky at my nook!
One picture Betsy? Wow, now I really am impressed.
ReplyDeleteDid you get a lot done on your "secret project" today? :)
Yep they are around here
ReplyDeleteAnd only 1, that is not even at all I fear..haha
Yep, just one shot at that Starling! He landed and was gone in a moment! ha.
ReplyDeleteGot a lot done on the project! So fun and it's looking great!
Pat
ReplyDeleteYes, but first is best
at least in the comment jest.
Saves time, too
no 50 photos to look through.
ha.
Maybe he saw a cat or two
and thought he'd better scram toodle loo.
:)
I'm entertaining myself by imagining all the stuff you MIGHT be doing in your project. Like replacing all your doors with beaded curtains........:)
ReplyDeleteRebecca ~ oooh, now...beads! Why didn't I think of that! LOL! I can just see the tangles after Spencer got ahold of them. Oh gosh. hahaha.
ReplyDeleteOh, didn't think about that--ok nix the beads. How about those doors that split in the middle what are they called?
ReplyDeleteelevator doors?
ReplyDeletehahaha....
I think Rebecca means Dutch doors.
ReplyDeleteI know. :)
ReplyDeleteI would have loved to have had those when the boys were small!
I always think of Mr. Ed. lol...
Well, I think the British actually refer to them as "stable doors," but I'd have to look that up.
ReplyDeleteElevator doors hee hee! Yes, french doors are what I meant. My brain is misfiring tonight. :)
ReplyDeleteOh, french doors. Nice! We have doors like that on our master suite. Solid, though..no glass..obviously. ha.
ReplyDeleteI'm liking the bead idea, though. That would certainly be unique.
I think I'll go put my brain to bed. Goodnight John Boy. :)
