Mistletoe is the theme at Creative Tuesday!
Looks like Mr. and Mrs. Bird are keeping warm with a little smooch under their mistletoe! I'm not even sure they notice the beautiful snowflakes falling around them! I think I need to hang some mistletoe in my house! Harry is the man around here always willing to give a kiss. Maybe he'll give mom a little peck if I stand under it. :)
If you'd like to join in, this theme is due by Tuesday, December 6th.

No talent required...just come have fun!
So when you kiss, do you keep your eyes open or close them like me? Or does that depend on who you are kissing? ha.
♥
So sweet..love it! I did notice the snow flakes too, very cute! ;D

ReplyDeleteI think I close my eyes Betsy:)
ReplyDeleteDepends...
This is the first time I have stopped by and saw one of your drawings. You are quite talented. Love the little birdies.
ReplyDeleteIt totally depends who I'm kissing...
Orlin just dropped some drool
ReplyDeleteSo not cool
His eyes are wide open too
And what you guess may be true
Pat ~
ReplyDeleteSo Orlin drools

Very talented drawing! I close my eyes. :)
ReplyDeletelaurie ~ I watch my parakeets all the time so I knew just how to draw them. :)
ReplyDeleteBetsy, this is so sweet and beautifully drawn. I do love the snowflakes falling around them.
ReplyDeletedo you know that I have looked HIGH and LOW for an attractive mistletoe arrangement and CANNOT find one? I had one when we first married and had to throw it out. NOW...I cannot find one! (there are tacky ones!)
ReplyDeleteCute drawing!
Jill ~ I'm sure there are LOTS of tacky ones. ha. I think the pretty ones are the real deal from the florist.
ReplyDeletethis is beautiful!!!! i love the snow on the branches and your misteltoe... i like how you did the background too!!!!! xo
ReplyDeleteGotta love those smooches...
ReplyDeleteI close my eyes, by the way, no matter how good-looking the woman is!
Silver ~ yeah, somehow I knew that!
ReplyDeleteOh how lovely, an ideal Christmas card
ReplyDeleteAww, what a cute picture. I love it! I don't think I've ever kissed under mistletoe, but my hubby says we did when we were dating. I am overflowing with Christmas cheer this year! Started in October when the docs said I don't have to have heart bypass surgery after all!!! i am way ahead this year. But I think the easiest way to get in the groove is to read the Christmas stories in the Bible and play the Christmas carol/hymns. Merry Christmas to you, Betsy!
ReplyDeleteVery sweet picture. I wish I had half your talent!
ReplyDeleteRosezilla ~ well, that certainly is good news and a reason to celebrate! I'm so happy for you!
ReplyDeleteThis is so sweet. I like that you used a blue bow with jingle bells. It goes nicely with the birds and snow.
ReplyDeletethis is truly brilliant, Betsy. I adore it. so fun. Just love the birds' expressions! TY for doing this.
ReplyDeleteBTW, when I read, "No talent required...just come have fun!" I thought you were referring to kissing under mistletoe!! LOL.
And no, I never close my eyes! but its been so long since I kissed anyone under mistletoe--can't even remember last time in fact!
Mmm ~ oh that is too funny! I'm afraid I would rather require talent in that case. lol...
ReplyDeleteWell, don't feel bad...I can't remember the last time for me, either! :( Maybe I should borrow your card!
I wondered if you'd do birds! They are absolutely delightful! I love the choice of the blue ribbon.
ReplyDeleteMine were canines - based on the colours - sometimes I thought they wolves, other times coyotes, other times dogs and every once in a while foxes (are foxes canines?) Thanks!
I love your sweet kissing birds all snug in their nest. Another fabulous drawing, Betsy!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Janice! :) They do look snug, don't they?
ReplyDeleteEVA ~ I have no idea if foxes are canine! But whatever they were, they were cute! :)
ReplyDeleteThis is way too cute... I like how you made their eyes to determine male and female...you have his head turned just right!! :)
ReplyDeleteso cute :)
ReplyDeleteTotally enchanting! Are you making cards of this? You should... I'd buy them for next year!
