thanks, silver. I snapped this a few days ago. Today, Mr. Cardinal was back, and those kittens started climbing the tree after him just like they did with the Jay. lol...no photos, though. Mr. Cardinal didn't stay too long to tease them.
yes, nature does it beautifully!! I was just thinking of you, I opened my reader and there you were with a gorgeous pic of a favorite bird:) Hope you all have a wonderful Christmas!
Dear we have cardinals too and others too, we are not so exotic (lol)but here we have owls here, white owls but we almost dont see you knoe they sleep all day but I heard sometines in the night:)
I think with Silver you need to invest in a bug sweeper too The electronic kind, not anything for squashing bugs as they bother you Hmmm well maybe that would work better, you think?..hahaha Mr. Cardinal wouldn't play with a kitty What a pity Great shot though Yes, nature does do it better unless it decides to use ten feet of snow
hahaha I had plenty to choose from too There were snowmen doing the same thing you were able to view A multiple Santa full moon And a conga line with most everything flapping in the breeze as they moved to the tune...hahaha
Nature can and does "outdo" us everytime--lovely shot. I made the Rusian Tea Cakes today, and they were fabulous. Thanks so much for the recipe and for the "push" that made me finally make them. Have a lovely Christmas with your family and a New Year filled with joy, peace, and blessings. Mickie :)
Yes! Oh yes, yes, yes!! This most beautiful vivid and amazingly scarlte bird against the bare branches - beautiful!!! Hugs to Mother Nature - she looks after her children! Take care x
this is wonderful Betsy and i couldn't agree more, nature just knows how to make the best decorations! well, your shot of it is just as fantastic :-) merry Christmas to you and your family! ps: writing from my new blog, hope you may still enjoy it :-)
Nothing comes close to nature when it comes to beauty. Sunrises, sunsets, and rainbows are some of the most beautiful scenes that nature provides. Although some birds are definitely the most colorful. You just gotta love nature and the beauty she provides. I must say that you are blessed with some beautiful views.
Great shot of the Mr.; all you're missing is the snow.
I'm pricing bird feeders at work, since I'm finally living in a place where I can put one up in view of a window. I want to get both a seed and a suet feeder - I wanna see Woodpeckers and Nuthatches as well as the usual Cardinals and Blue Jays!
you know what's crazy, I have yet to ahve ever seen a real life Cardinal like you see all the time! but then again, bet you haven;t seen a dear English robin either.
Another gorgeous shot, doll!

ReplyDeleteRoy, if you can get one that fits on your window that's the best. Easy to fill from inside and they are nice and close up, too.
