Gratefulness

The Pilgrims made seven times more graves than houses.
No Americans have been more impoverished than these who,
nevertheless, set aside a day of thanksgiving.

  5. You have to count Mr. Bird too
And he only has two legs unless a couple more grew
    Especially after his whole ordeal
    Almost becoming a Tiger meal...haha
Happy Thanksgiving to all and to all a good night
    Strat! I think I mixed holidays tonight..haha

Oh yes, Mr. and Mrs. Bird, too.
And he is extra thankful to still be living in the zoo.

Today, The Mister said, "This morning I went out to feed our four cats and ended up feeding eight!" Four of the little kittens came for breakfast, too. ha.

  14. Yeah, the good, the bad, and the ugly. William Brewster and John Billington; one a respected preacher, the other hanged for murder. Gotta love ancestors! They make us who we are, whatever that is.

  15. Oh wow, Martha. Yes, that is so true. You don't get to pick them or write the history. :)
