Merry Christmas to my dear friends!
I'm going to take some days off and enjoy the holidays! :)
I need to flop on the couch and look at the lights on the tree!
I need to give my men back rubs and kisses!
I need to eat more Christmas cookies!
I need to watch Alistair Sim in A Christmas Carol!
And I haven't wrapped a single gift yet!
Hope you all enjoy your holiday!
♥
Don't forget that Christ is the reason for celebrating Christmas!
Without his gift of eternal life, life really isn't worth living at all!
♥♥♥
"My dear children, I am very anxious that you should know
something about the history of Jesus Christ.
For everybody ought to know about him."
Charles Dickens

I'll see you all in 2011 for a fresh new year!
Sounds like more than your five men need a backrub! Hope you all have a blessed holiday.
ReplyDeleteAnd like my sister says...
ReplyDelete"He's the reason
For the season!"

ReplyDeleteI love your quote at the end. Doesn't one, or more, of your triplets have part of A Christmas Carol memorized? Seems like I remember something about that.
ReplyDeleteHave a very Merry Christmas with all your men!
Kayren ~ haha...well, they play the opening music and the one phrase "Old Marley was as dead as a doornail" over and over and over. Oh dear! I actually had to hide the DVD because they were blasting me out of bed with it every morning in the middle of July! ha. What a way to wake up!I'll bring it out of hiding over the weekend...and hide the remote while we watch.
ReplyDeleteMerry Christmas, Betsy, full of spirit and togetherness!
ReplyDeleteXo Leah

You deserve a break. Merry Christmas to you Betsy and all your family. Enjoy.
ReplyDeleteMerry Christmas Betsy, to you, and your five men.
ReplyDeleteIt is great that you take a rest now and then.
You are a very hard worker from what we can see,
Taking care of those special three.
Snow flakes falling, turning everything white,
Feeding the birds, baking cookies at night.
Scrumptious recipes you willingly share,
Showing your faithful readers how much you care.
Writing about your everyday events,
And your five men who are quite the gents.
When life comes after you, easy or not,
You seem to give your all, you give quite a lot.
So while relaxing with your feet on the table,
Enjoying a show that is on cable.
We will be thinking of the reason,
That Jesus is the true blessing of this season.
Merry Christmas and God bless.
And a Merry Christmas to you from me and thanks for following my blog :)
