Well, I'm all dolled up and leaving for Mr. Toast's Christmas Tea!
The tea is next Sunday, December 5th and it is a virtual blog party.
Everyone is invited! Have you signed up yet?
You can do that by clicking HERE.
All you have to do is sign up and visit Mr. Toast's blog on the 5th,
leave a comment and you're there! It's that easy! If you want to
pick out something fancy to wear and show it on your own
blog, you can do that, too. It just adds to the festivities!
I'm leaving early because it will take me all week to get to
the Isle of Mull as I'm traveling by the Orient Express. And since
it's a virtual trip, the Orient Express travels from Ohio straight
across the ocean! Just as magical as the Polar Express!
Lovely! I am signed up and hoping to be there, but as I am travelling back from Oslo on the afternoon I may miss it. However, I will definitely pop in and help with the clean up the next day! Hope you have a fabulous time. :-)
ReplyDeleteI hope you get to pop in and visit for a bit. Make sure happy frog comes too...does he have a tux? ;)
ReplyDeleteI'm getting very excited. Your up-sweep of curls is stunning. I love your baggage. My you are taking a lot ~~ are you planning to stay over a few more days.
ReplyDeleteI love that you will be traveling across the ocean on the O.E. How charming...it's so nice to live in fantasy land for a few days!!!
Wanda ~ haha...that is a lot of luggage, isn't it? And so unlike me in real life. I like to pack very light. But it will take me a week to get there...and another week back. Plus my gown takes up a whole trunk on it's own! ha.
ReplyDeleteha. your hair looks lovely betsy...see you there...what a cool way to arrive by train...
ReplyDeleteI must say I am tempted to join this adventurous troupe. Best wishes. I will be enjoying the trip vicariously!

ReplyDeleteLove your up-do! This will be a fun week Betsy. The Orient Express, how fabulous.
ReplyDeleteI am excited just reading about your preparations! I am so looking forward to it!
ReplyDeleteBetsy,
ReplyDeleteThe Orient Express sounds so exotic and wonderful! What a fun and elegant way to travel. I've been making daily runs to Henry Ford the past two weeks. My destination is floor #6 the transplant unit to see two special people Heather and Robert. Robert is hopefully home for good enjoying his new comfy recliner and Heather will be home tomorrow if she has a good night. She got a little infection from a port in her neck, but once it was removed things resolved quickly. Her doctor decided to keep her an extra day as a precaution. Who ever could imagine blogging would turn out to be life saving? I count my blessings each and every day.
Cathy
Cathy ~ Hi! Thanks so much for the update on Heather! I hope she does get to come home tomorrow! yes, blogging actually did become a lifesaver in your family...literally. How wonderful, too, to think of all the bloggers around the world praying who have never met Heather or Robert! Pretty neat!
ReplyDeleteSounds like my dream trip.;))

ReplyDeleteBy the way, in 2009 we had a Mystery on the Orient Express party and I wrote a poem for the occasion. Check it out if you get a sec.
