an extra large one full of nice antiques and all kinds of goodies.
Unlike last week, which was all escavating equipment!
Needless to say, I wasn't tempted to bid on a single thing!
I wonder what the boys would have thought if I brought
this big scoop home! No..I'll stick to driving my Jeep
Commander. It's more my style, don't you think?
I bet this thing doesn't even have heated seats! ha.
Even so, it was a gorgeous day and watching the bidders
try out the equipment was very entertaining. :)
The one with all the antiques sounds much more fun. I think I would spend everything I earned while working there on the items they are selling. Do you get a chance to browse and find any treasures?
ReplyDeletei would so bid on excavating equipment...think of all the fun i could have!
ReplyDeleteI think your boys might have been excited to have some new "wheels" in the house. I think most boys are fascinated by big trucks.
ReplyDeleteKathy ~ 'in' the house? LOL! I'm quite certain those things would not fit through the front door! ha. :)
ReplyDeleteThat is tiny compared to what I work with every day!
ReplyDeleteMy hub works for a big machinery company like that and they hold a big auction one a year..it's different thats for sure! ;D
ReplyDeleteOh I do think your boys would have been very excited to see you pull up in one of those!!!
ReplyDeleteYour auction days sound so fun and interesting.
That is so funny, owing a scoop.;) I have once driven a tractor though an there were definitely no heated seats as it was in the end of October and I was freezing my butt off.;))

Toys for boys, last week - maybe you'll find a gem among the antiques, Betsy.

Ha! I bet that was interesting to watch!...Now, the antiques?...I'd be in some serious trouble there but what fun! :)
ReplyDeleteYou are too funny, Betsy! My daughter used to work for a company that sold farm equipment and would eye it on other dealer's lots as we passed! lol Loved those autumn treats...pretty! I hope you are having a great week!...hugs...Debbie
ReplyDeleteOh gosh, my husband would have loved that auction!!!
ReplyDeleteHelping at an antique auction could be a costly adventure! LOL! I'm with you on the heavy equipment, passing on it would be easy.
ReplyDeleteHave fun! I hope you find a special treasure to take home.
ReplyDeleteYour boys would have loved that big scoop!
