Aww tree goes up on Saturday my daughter's birthday but here it's warm, wet, sticky, strange. How I long for an open fire and snow covered grounds. At least the pool is schparkly.

What a delightful December acrostic! I think I'll share it at our Ladies Christmas Brunch on Saturday! In fact, maybe I'll have the gals do a December Acrostic for a game.
I'm here catching up! This post has much better imagery than the last. You almost lost me with the 6o nails! LOL! There really should be a reward for that kind of devotion!
Happy December! I love your new header photo! I took a carriage ride once in Central Park but never a horse drawn sleigh ride. I'd love to do that one day!
I've missed your acrostics. :)
ReplyDeleteIt is a beautiful tree.
ReplyDeleteThe tree is very pretty, and I especially like marshmallow mustaches.
ReplyDeleteMatty ~ haha..me, too! And maybe even a bit on the end of my nose! ;)
ReplyDeleteLove your acrostics. Love the image of marshmallow and ribbons and glistening lights. So cozy and fun. no wonder I love winter so.

ReplyDeleteLove your poem...it made me bust out singing, "these are a few of my favorite things".....glad you can't hear me! lol
ReplyDeleteIt's cold this morning. A cup of steamy hot chocolate with marshmallows sounds like just the thing.
ReplyDeleteHave you put your tree up yet? I haven't, but I did help Rachel get her's decorated yesterday.
Yay, for December! I love vintage trees also!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful, Betsy! And a gorgeous tree, too! Hope you are having a great week!...hugs...Debbie
