We were just beginning a journey! Back then it was 4 boys in diapers,
36 bottles a day, night time feedings and 4 hours of sleep per night!
Taylor (2 yrs old) with Alex, Harry, Spencer
We had no idea the twists and turns our journey would take
with autism just two years down the road! But for a little
while it was all bliss...exhaustion...but bliss! LOL!
Happy Birthday, Boys!
I love you more than you'll ever know.
♥♥♥
Aw, that last line really breaks my heart in some ways but oh, what precious incredible photos. I just look at toddler Taylor there and think, what an incredible experience for him too --to hold 3 infant brothers all at one time. I just imagine what that must have been like for his young mind to grasp and then as things progressed. I love how you say what bliss it was even though it must have been untold exhaustion compared to even the most tired of parents with newborns. you have done a great job providing a home obviously so full of love, protection and security, as well as happiness and consistency for all your boys, none of whom (not even Taylor) can full appreciate just what a blessing they have compared to so many unloved and/or unsafe, uncared for children/teens, etc.
ReplyDeleteAll of this surely doesn't go unnoticed in the heavens above.
Mmm ~ awww...you made me cry! thank you for those really kind words. :)
ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday to 3 of your 5 men! The photos are so cute... Taylor looks like he has everything under control in that picture!
ReplyDeleteThat's a classic and timeless photo Betsy. He looks so proud as a big brother. I remember the tiring and sleepless nights too, and that was with only a child at a time. God bless you and your husband for handling four young ones. You've come a long way. Happy Birthday to your sons.
