ah, the grocery store alone. who knew it could hold so much excitement! Lucky you! Enjoy your "alone" time. I can relate...one week and one day.... xxoo heather (even though I know I will miss them...as I bet you will too!)
Aw, there they go!! Enjoy your grocery shopping:-) Although I will miss your shopping stories with the boys!! I think you should get lots of chips for them just so they will know you were thinking of them while you were there;-)
good for the boys to be back in school and good for you to finally get some alone- and down- time. I'm sure it's hard too but make the most of it...an definitely time to get out of the house ..alone! You, more than anyone, need this sanity break to collect your thoughts, muse and actually relax a bit in these away hours.
Stop listening to those deep thoughts rattling around in your head...unless they make you happy. The numbness will pass soon and you'll get back into your own groove. Hugs!
Now that I think about it, I'm often like the cartoon where the mom says "oh, no where'd I leave the baby!" except it's a fifteen year-old I'm lookin for! Then I remember, she's at school or, rarely, with someone else.
Ah, yes, the old "be careful what you ask for" syndrome. Does this mean we're going to see another countdown in your sidebar, one until the day school ends?
Enjoy your time alone today...and tomorrow...and the next day...
ReplyDeleteI remember those days and I felt so lost and then that feeling passed. They will be home soon, have a good time out shopping.
