the photo with the statue of liberty makes me think of the radio story i was posted about today - our lady of freedoms - if you haven't heard it, hope you can give it a listen, think you will really enjoy it! very moving!
thank God for America. I lover her so much, but am afraid to say, deep down my feeling is, like many it seems, regardless of one's political/religious persuasion, that her best days are well behind her. We are on a self destructive decline. But, yes, let's celebrate that which reminns.
