ReplyDeleteThis is so cute, Betsy! I love the pretty red bird and can feel the movement of the wind chimes. We have some new chimes and the sound is just magical : )
ReplyDeleteOh Besty I love it. It is similar to mine but I did a little photoshop to make it darker. I hope that is not cheating.
ReplyDeleteQMM
QMM ~ I'm sure darkening it is not cheating...I lightened mine! :) Yes, ours are similar, but opposite...stormy wind and gentle breeze. :)
ReplyDeleteGreat picture. I love the chimes and the birdie.
ReplyDeleteI love this whimsical drawing... reminds me of "The Giving Tree"! Very nice.

ReplyDeleteIt's my favorite so far, Betsy.
ReplyDeleteKayren ~ I think it might be my favorite, too! :)
ReplyDeleteLove your drawing, Betsy! You're very talented!
ReplyDeleteThis is lovely! I'm always in awe of people who can draw and sketch and paint. I think I need to get some new chimes for my new home.
ReplyDeleteJanelle ~ talented? Um...no, that would be YOU, my dear! :)
ReplyDeleteI can't believe you can draw too! I love birch trees and how their bark moves in the wind...now I just need a cardinal to land in mine!
ReplyDeleteanother lovely contribution, Betsy, complete with a little cardinal on top!
ReplyDeleteOh this is so lovely. The bird seems oblivious, the tree just surrenders, the music continues on.
ReplyDeleteYour whimsical drawing could go right into a story book Betsy. The wind was blowing so hard here the other day it actually broke our windchime. Been looking for a new one.

It is beautiful Betsy...you have a wonderful eye...and this lovely sketch captures so much more than its individual parts...it creates a mood for me...and I recall the sound of wind chimes on my back deck...even on a rainy Monday as it is here today!
