Have you ever noticed that some people look
like their dog? Did you know that studies show that
it actually happens more with people who buy
purebreds? That is because people making a
serious, expensive purchase like that take
time to shop and research the dog and most
times without realizing it, they are drawn to
dogs that resemble themselves!
Muts on the other hand, are usually bought
spur of the moment...it's love at first sight
and brought home from a kennel or pound
without as much thought as to the type.
OK...so it's time to 'fess up! If you owna pure bred dog, do you resemble it?

ReplyDeleteI don't have a purebred dog, so I can't look like it, but that said, those pictures are absolutely stinkin' hilarious! Love, love, love them!
ReplyDeleteReminds me a little of those commercials they had on tv with people and food that looked alike...maybe it was a cholesterol medication they were advertising. It was some kind of medication.
It was Lipitor. Of course I remembered as soon as I hit publish.

ReplyDeleteBirdie and I share so much gray...and it started appearing at the exact same time. Fortunate for me, I color over it :) Wonder if she would be down with some doggie hair dye? I once had a date in college that insisted we looked just alike. Was that a compliment? It was a first and only date. He was a tough one to read and he told me that I should have ironed my khakis. That was the deal breaker.

ReplyDeleteWOW, I'm not sure I could pick a winner out of these pictures. The similarities are very uncanny. I don't have a dog now, but those I have had I never resembled. Nor do I look like the two cats and two guinea pigs we have now. Thank goodness.

Very funny Betsy/ Yes, I do like like my regal "long haired" German Shephard. Hee. Actually, he was given to us by the pound to take care of and we kept him a live. there is also a golden australian shephard with beautiful dark rimmed eyes adn now my family has this white curly haired poodle mix mutt that is quite spritely, I must say
