Beautiful picture and quote. I really like the light shining on the barn. It's very welcoming. It reminds me of the song by David Cook, 'Light On'..."Try to leave a light on when I’m gone, Something I rely on to get home". We get a little snow and then it melts. We had beautiful sun yesterday, but none today. That's February, I guess.
i just read more about you...wow. you are a true child of God... and i am sure you have an amazing family. my dear friend has a son with autism and she has such a story... she wrote "elijah's cup"... you should read if you have time... truly special. and so are you. xoxo

Subby, well I certainly could take some just like it! It has looked just like this around here in the country! Some of the roads are plowed just about that well, too! ha.
I’m sitting here; a little under the weather on this Sunday morning, so I thought I would leave you a quick comment. I had such a huge smile on my face when I saw the video of Harry on the kitchen counter and loved the fact that you would grab your camera and get a video of it. Priceless. Not everyone could do that. I’m sure you have your moments of doubt and frustration, but you also seem to have been given a gift of humor and patience and kindness beyond what many of us have. Your blog is witness to God and his work in your life. I try to remember to say a quick prayer for my “blogger friends” when reading their posts…I will continue to do that for you. By the way, I’m enjoying all the new birds at my makeshift feeder! I wish our snow would melt, even if it means getting more later, a little break would be nice! Have a great week…
Anita...thank you so very much. I've been in quite a slump lately and your words certainly encouraged me. Keeping a sense of humor helps for sure! ...so does a little solitude which I intentionally carve out for myself on a regular basis!
Even though it's from the net, it is quite the pretty picture. And winter has been more than sweet enough, and it's now time for her to allow spring to be sweet to us.
I love Winter shots like that. The snow covers the bare trees so the overall effect is like a black & white photo... and then something like a barn, a bird, whatever... comes along and jolts you with a splash of color.
