...so reminiscent of what we go through every year with our brood! (This year I caved and paid someone else to make them look they were full of the spirit of Christmas!)
I just did a post yesterday on the challenges of getting a family portrait for our Christmas cards. Our "oops" photos are pretty funny too! I never would think of posting them though. It must be the perfectionist in me. Kudos to you for posting them : ) Love the hats!
I love this!!! This made me laugh out loud. It only takes one reluctant photographic subject to make things challenging. How about you send out a fold out card with all images including your captions... what a keepsake that would be! Hee hee! :)
BGP ~ I still laugh out loud when I look at them! And making up the captions was very fun. Your fold out card is a good idea...sometimes you just have to go with the flow. ha!
Aren't family photo sessions somewhat of a trial? Especially with kids:)
We did ours in early Nov. this year and thought they were great until my mom (we did immediate and extended family ones) decided she didn't like the way her hair looked and made us re-do them. The 2nd time was a nightmare...and then she ended up going with a shot from the 1st session anyway. Arrrgghh... :)
Oh my goodness, Betsy! That is so funny! Is that an arm on the left trying to hold someone in place? Your oldest looks so accommodating through the whole thing too.
You need to put this on here: www.OneTrueMedia.com and make a funky Christmas slide show out of it!
The captions AND the facial expressions together "crack me up"!

Betsy, I think these portraits, along with the captions, are better than one serious picture. You captured so much more than just their likenesses. Too funny! Taylor is a good sport.
heee hee ha ha...I busted out laughing at the "I dont know..she's still the boss". hahaha :) LOVED your family photos of the boys! What incredible patience you have as a mother. You have to the best one out there that I know of. Seriously. Hugs!
Yep I'm with the fold-out card with all the images too Betsy! They are just me, your boys - they show all in their faces, which is why I NEVER play poker! Millie ^_^

I must be the mom of boys. Their hats didn't even stand out as unusual to me. But now that I see them, they are pretty cute.

My first thought was about all the matching Elmer Fudd hats. Did you ever get one you could use? Or did you just have to try again another time?
