I'd say this shows appreciation and autumn very well!
Seeing on a countdown clock in blogland that Christmas
is only 44 days away, I bought my first Christmas present while
I was out today. I also made my gift list, to make sure I
don't forget anybody! 44 days? Really? Where did this year go?
Before I worry too much about that, I need to remember that
Thanksgiving is only 16 days away!
thank you so much...i am not going to be able to sleep tonight...44 days! arggh!
ReplyDeleteThat's a beautiful basket!

Thanksgiving is at my sister's this year. I've hosted for the last 2 years. I'll make a couple of dishes to take of course.
ReplyDeleteChristmas...I'm not thinking about that one yet.
Beautiful thank you basket. Lucky recipient.
You're making me think! I'd better start my Christmas preparations!
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely basket! Is that a Moser Roth chocolate bar that I see in it? That kind is MY FAVOURITE!
ReplyDeleteUnfortunately we do not celebrate Thanksgiving here, I truly missed that holiday when I relocated from NC ten years ago.

ReplyDeleteBetsy, it is beautiful... so festive an seasonal I would be tempted to use it as a centerpiece! Is that fudge in the front that says "thank you"? Oh, and I love alba products! Nicely, nicely done. I love it when you show us what you've been making.
ReplyDeleteNow... to start my own holiday planning!
GORGEOUS basket.
ReplyDeleteMay I have one??
I too have purchased some gifts already. I like the idea of getting it done and then relaxing (or baking) the last couple of weeks before Christmas!
It is sad that I mark Christmas by thinking about only being 40 days away from my next tax return!
ReplyDeleteChristian ~ that is a 'rock' of chocolate that the buyer gave me to include. It was so fun to put together!
ReplyDeleteSo not ready for either holiday but really want be! Need to work on the list myself. I love this basket! Great job once again.
ReplyDeleteWhat an incredible basket! Anyone would be thoroughly blessed to get such a marvelous hamper. Very well done indeed.
ReplyDeleteI've got you beat, Betsy. I actually bought my first xmas gift for someone (a book on flags and crests) about a month ago. So far, i have bought 3 small gifts.
But i;m so glad Thxgiving comes first--my favourite holiday, well Stateside anyway.
Mmm~ you did start early! I actually got a few more gifts done this morning online. Now I'm feeling pretty good! Thanksgiving is The Mister's favorite holiday, too!
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful basket. Everything is so perfectly color coordinated. That will be one lucky recipient:-)...I would imagine you get quite a few orders around Christmas?
ReplyDeleteI'm not travelling for Thanksgiving this year, and that will be a nice welcome from all the fluttering back and forth that we usually do- Just the four of us, and of course the dogs and cat here this year.
Thanksgiving is sixteen days away? Oh no. I need another month. Can we rewind, please?
ReplyDeleteYour basket is beautiful as is you blog photo.
Great basket and all my questions were already answered in the comments already. Lol
ReplyDeleteI got a giftbasket like this basket, but all treats was placed in rolling shopping basket that I will use instead of my reusable bags. http://www.scsplastics.com
