"I see TV ads about detergents that can get blood stains out of
your clothes. I say if you have blood stains on your clothes you
should be thinking about something other than laundry!"
~~Jerry Seinfeld
I was gone for a couple of days last week and did laundry
all weekend just to catch up! No blood stains...but lots
of other stains and dirt! How come every one is
messier when the mom is gone???
And speaking of Seinfeld, don't you miss that show?
The Mister and I used to laugh and laugh!
I need to find the reruns!
Funny! And yes - I do miss Seinfeld.
ReplyDeleteWe still catch the reruns on weeknights. So much fun!
ReplyDeleteAs for laundry... the never-ending story!
Hubby and I bought the DVD's by season over several Christmases as gifts to ourselves. We love Seinfeld!
ReplyDeleteYou can get it all on DVD.
ReplyDeleteNow TV is movies and movies are TV. Everything is upside down.
As for the blood, he must of said that before he had kids, bloody noses, scraped elbows...I could go on and on.
I don't know Seinfeld but - he was right, for sure!
ReplyDeleteI miss that show, in fact it defines my decade in the US. I even have a book he wrote; "Sein Language", which is hilarious.;)
ReplyDeleteHave a great Monday,
xo
Carolyn ~ Yep, I think Seinfeld was worrying that there was a body to dispose of somewhere! ha!
ReplyDeleteProtege ~ that book or a set of DVD's might be a fun Christmas gift for The Mister!
ReplyDeleteLOVE the red towels! They look wonderful! When are the before and after photos coming?
ReplyDeleteLOVE SEINFELD...occasionally catch a rerun on some obscure station...ALWAYS have to stop and watch...AND LAUGH!
Jill ~ I need to shop for new blinds or something for the window and frame a print for the wall...and then the great reveal will happen! :)
ReplyDeleteI am guessing Seinfield said that before he got married and had children - esp. boys!
ReplyDeleteI am currently a huge fan of Tide TotalCare - gets out the stains, softens everything and smells so nice.
Hi Betsy....I say we all need reasons to laugh and every day if possible. Have you ever pondered the thought that God gave us our sense of humor? and...that we are created in His image? I think that just maybe this is one of his best attributes.
ReplyDeleteWe love watching reruns of Seinfield... Dee Dee
there is a reason i dont get left with the boys for extended periods of time...has something to do with full body finger painting and berber carpet...really i did not mean to! ha.
ReplyDeleteIt was a good show. The DVD's are priced reasonable - especially on Amazon.
ReplyDeleteI miss Seinfeld, and Cheers, also! It seems like it is haed to get caught up on anything!
ReplyDeleteWhat I love about trying to catch reruns of my favourite shows is sometimes finding one I never saw... old and new all at once! Morning routine: I dress, eat breakfast, etc. while watching two back-to-back reruns of Frasier.
ReplyDeleteI suspect you just notice it more when you've been gone. And, it just goes to show how everything unravels when mom is gone! You the cog that keeps things spinning around. Consider yourself a VIP! :)
ReplyDeleteNever watched Seinfeld. Never got into him actually but tried a few times.
I watch Jerry every night at 10:30....well I should say I watch Jerry until I fall asleep/ha
ReplyDeleteI am sure your men are enjoying the extra cleaning. I do miss that show as well! :)
ReplyDeleteLOL We love Seinfeld around here. I think we can just about quote them by now:) And I love his book, Seinlanguage, it never fails to crack me up!
