  10. Hi Betsy, I stopped chasing roosters and had a chance to drop by.

I've been reading some of your autism posts and am so impressed. The things you share seem sweet and simple but I know there is tons of work and patience involved. I could relate to all that I read. I can imagine how stressful it must be at times but it is so obvious that you are a great mom and enjoy your boys.

We adopted two children with developmental disabilities. Both have major sensory issues but neither has enough to fall within the autism spectum. They are complete opposites and it took a while to sort through the chaos of how they set each other off. We've got a pretty good handle on it now and everyone's making progress.

I've taken up enough space here so I'll head on out. Thanks for sharing your stories.

  11. My first time here and I have enjoyed looking back thru your posts. You have a great blog. Your WS rooster and I think it is a biscuit jar are so gorgeous grouped together. My husband and I do not have children but he became disabled at 52 and I stay at home with him. We live in GA. We are anxiously awaiting the Fall leaves to change color and cooler temperatures! Enjoy your day.

  12. I do like the blues in that picture. It would be pretty as a cross-stitch pattern, although the color shadings would be a bear!
