Joe's or Jim's?

A friend and I went to lunch this week.
We stopped in Trader Joe's and did a little shopping.
I bought a few things I don't normally get...a few
nice treats. This Italian Blood Orange Soda looks like
it will taste yummy with my blue corn tortilla chips
and pineapple salsa. :) I bought some flavored teas
for The Mister, too, along with his favorite dark
chocolate covered caramels.
And I got my usual ahi tuna steaks.
Someone recently recommended I check out
Jungle Jim's in Cincinnati. I hear it's like a huge
Trader Joes...actually, it's a 6 acre grocery store!
Sounds like an all-day adventure!
I wonder if Joe and Jim are related!

  1. That sounds like a fun adventure! I have yet to go to either place. I have a hard time seeing Dayton as a place to go to on my day off. Someday I would like to check it out...

  2. It is always fun to by some new food item and I often try to avoid to go grocery shopping when I am hungry. I end up buying half the store.;)
I like the design of the label on the soda bottle.;))

  3. I know this is sad but I have never been to a Trader Joe's. I wanted to. It sounds like they have some great selections.

  4. A 6-acre grocery store... it's the Ikea of food! I love Trader Joe's, alas there is not one anywhere near where we live.

  5. I discovered Italian soda at our local Safeway .... I love it!!!!! We also have a fairly new Trader Joe's in our little city ... I will look for their soda on my next visit. I must purchase my $2 buck Chuck ($3 bucks now) wine as well.

  6. Love this soda! And the dark chocolate caramels as well. I use the dark chocolate covered raisins in my trail mix. If you have a Costco near by, try the chocolate covered macadamia nut caramels, oh sooo good!

  8. I adore BOTH Joe's and Jim's! I frequent Joes much more often but we do drive to Jungle Jim's and shop here and there! The kids love to go to Jungle Jim's as it is a bit of a field trip and it is fun to try the foods from all kinds of countries!

Will have to try that soda...I love their pomegranate soda.
