and two of his classmates.
We enjoyed cake, nuts, ice cream sundaes with all the toppings,
coffee and punch along with 300 guests!
day of school for them and they left this morning for
their senior trip to NYC.
senior pictures, newspaper articles and Letterman jackets.
Taylor. Several teachers commented on how not only
is he handsome, athletic, respectful and funny....he
has always through his school years befriended the
kids that didn't have friends. What a wonderful thing
to be remembered by. We're very proud of him.
Anyone who allows themselves to be a part of his
life is going to be blessed and the few who refuse
are really missing out!
Graduation is next weekend!
Where did the time go???
We were SO SORRY to miss the Open House!!!! So glad it was a huge success! What fun for Taylor to be in NYC! Lots or memories made for him...and he truly is the nicest guy!
ReplyDeleteI was hoping you would post about the Open House... looks like it was perfect! Very celebratory. I have no doubt that Taylor's strength of character is a direct reflection of the two faithful ones who have raised him.
ReplyDeleteWonderful photo of the three of you. I must say, Betsy, that this is the first photo that I've seen of you that made me think, "Oh, she and Willow DO look like sisters!" You're both beautiful.
This first picture of the three of you is SO good! Taylor is so handsome and he looks exactly like you, Betsy. Congratulations again to Taylor. You and the Mister have done a very fine job. ~x~

ReplyDeleteLove that picture of the three of you. You look too young, Betsy! I know you and The Mister are very proud based on what you said, and you should be.
ReplyDelete300 guests...my goodness! My first thought was, "How did you fit all those people in your house?" and then my brain started functioning and I took a better look at the pictures, too.
Hope Taylor has a great time in NYC and that next weekend is a wonderful time for you all.
Kayren ~ Yes, we thought with three graduates and all those guests, we better move it to our church gym. It was very nice to be able spread out, have an industrial sized kitchen and a huge parking lot! Thanks for saying I look young! But I'm not! I was 29 when Taylor was born! (shhhh!)
ReplyDeleteOh Betsy, what a wonderful young man you have raised. (just finished reading the post and the link) With character like that he will be a blessing to whomever comes into his life. Good job mom and dad! I know you thank the Lord he has blessed you with your sweet boys.
ReplyDeleteps I am in full agreement with MG. You are beautiful!
This has me tearing up a bit! don't want my babies to grow up! WHere did the time go is right! Taylor is so tallll! WHat an exciting time in his life!
ReplyDelete300 guests! Man you know a lot of people. Thanks for sharing the party. Sounds like you are two very blessed and proud parents! With my kiddos so young (and me so old), I have a hard time imagining graduation. Gotta be a great event.
ReplyDeleteWow, Betsey, you're so pretty! I guess having boys keeps you young, lol! Congratulations to your son, and to his parents, too, who obviously did great! It doesn't seem to go fast while they are growing and then all of a sudden you're amazed that it's gone. Our youngest turned 20 yesterday. No more teenagers! I miss 'em!
ReplyDeleteBetsy...shhh, back...I turned 28 the same month the girls were born. You said we sound alike too. What's up with that? :)
ReplyDeleteCongrats to Taylor! He is such a handsome young man. I hope he has a wonderful time in NYC. It sounds like you have done a great job raising him up in love. You are so pretty Betsy.
ReplyDeleteBetsy, what a wonderful job you and your husband have done with your son, you should be very proud. He should be very proud of himself too. I know from your blog God is strong in your family and it shows. I'm so glad Taylor had such a great day, Congradtulations to him and his friends!
