A Clean Sweep

Betcha can't tell which one is new!
And, for my faithful blog friends, Yes, I did
do a ceremony with much fanfare, as the
old broom got tossed into the trash!

  1. Ooooooo, I love to get a new item like a broom! I think I might have heard your fanfare!! ;)

  2. You know, I've still got my "Ohio broom" -- the new broom that I started my married life housekeeping with. It's so worn down, but I have this silly, strange, and sentimental attachment to it and will not let the professor replace it or move it to the garage. It still sweeps just fine.

  3. Ha! Your old one looks like a lot of things at my place. I have a tendency to hang onto things WAY longer than most people would. Glad you got a new one!

  4. I like that you have those ceremonies.;)) One should always say good bye to old friends that have served us well.;)
I love the black bird in your header; they are very common birds up here in the North.;))

  5. Not aware of the ceremony. I'm sure it's a good one.

  6. Hee-hee! Did you do an even grander version of the dance when you got rid of your old clothes dryer recently? Although the new one sounds like it has not quite won you over yet...
