Chocolate to Make You Beautiful!

I run a little gift basket business out of my home, so
I try to keep things like packaged chocolates on hand
for last minute orders. This package's expiration date
was about up, so I thought I'd better eat them myself! ha-ha!
I did have to laugh, though, when reading the label...we don't need to feel guilty about indulging! After all, these chocolates have added vitamins and minerals for our skin! Plus...the "natural goodness of cocoa flavanols to help hydrate from within"
(hmmm...wouldn't drinking a glass of water be better?) And to top it all off...there is an uplifting message inside each wrapper! So eat up, people....your hips may not thank you... but your skin and emotional well-being will! :)

  1. Plus...chocolate therapy is really in at all the trendy spas.. We could melt the chocolate down and use it as a face mask... nah... I'd rather eat it too!

  6. I had to crack up when I read about the package's expiration date because I knew what was coming. I'd do the same thing...by myself! I wonder what they'd taste like with a little buttercream frosting slathered on them to make them stick to your hips a little more?

Dove chocolate is one of the others that I enjoy if I don't get my standard Hershey's. I loved their marketing on this one and haven't seen it before. It's good for us just like our coffee...woo hoo!

  11. Everyone needs a little chocolate and and again. I don't believe I have ever seen Does called Beautiful. I'll have to be on the look out for them. Do you have a web site showing your gift baskets?

  12. How can you argue with that type of advertising. It makes perfect sense to me. Unfortunately, my hips wish I would pay more attention to them.

  13. Chocolate is certainly good for us, the darker the better, but - hey - milk is good for us too. Right? Right??? I liked this line:

"I try to keep things like packaged chocolates on hand
    for last minute orders..."

Yeah... me too... except I don't run a gift basket business, dagnabit!

  16. A co-worker introduced me to the goodness of Dove chocolate a few years ago. It really is good tasting. But, please don't share any of your stash with me. I still have cherry cordial kisses in the freezer.
