Shoe Fetish

What's important to a 17 year old?
Special basketball shoes for his senior year!
Custom color, custom design, and his
name and number stitched right on them!
Good luck, buddy, on the upcoming season!
Tryouts are next week!
Going to your games is something the whole family enjoys!

  1. Good luck to your son in the try-outs..It's hard to watch kids go through that nervous, "will I make the cut or not?", phase.

I read on your sidebar that you're feeling disappointed today. Here's a big comforting cyber-hug for you...This Navy family in Kentucky is also rather down-trodden.:^(

  7. I think that's wonderful that he is excited about the tryouts. I used to get nervous for my daughter when she would try out for anything like that. Some day we will understand why things have turned out the way they did yesterday. For now, I will pray for our leaders.

  8. elk ~ you must be talking about my wider columns. I went into html and made the outer margins more narrow. It really makes it look wider, doesn't it!

  10. My two oldest kids played sports and were "shoe-o-holics." Luckily, I had them working at a sports store where their shoes were bought at cost!!!! Good luck to your son and his try out!

  20. Some of my favorite memories are from high school sports. Best of luck to your son! I hope they have a great season. I'm sure it will help to have some of the coolest basketball shoes around :)
I have never heard of this being done.....

BTW, the pics on your sidebar of the pumpkins....did you carve those? If so, how did you do that? They are beautiful!

  21. Lisa ~ I didn't carve the pumpkins. They're from the Martha Stewart website. She sells a set of tools that do the special piercing patterns.
