Some of you may remember back when I was tagged
to list 7 unusual things about myself.
One of those things was that I love NASCAR!
So today my husband and I are taking
Taylor and one of his friends up to Michigan
to see the race. We'll be cheering for this driver...
as he drives this car....
and enjoying a nice little day trip!

ReplyDeleteMmm ~ oh, fun that you just now read those. That was a neat meme and I had a hard time narrowing weird things about myself down to only seven! ha-ha! I think Willow is beautiful, so if you think we look alike, then I'll take that as a compliment any day! :)

ReplyDeleteOh my..I can relate to you. My husband is crazy about NASCAR and we have watched for the past eighteen years we've been married. As lady em said, If you are ever in Atlanta give me a call. I will try and show you some good ole southern hospitality. I hope you had fun on your trip. I saw that Carl Edwards won. I love to see him flip.

ReplyDeleteOhhh, my boys would like to go, too! Only, they like to see Gordon lose. Matt likes Carl Edwards, and Kyle has several favorites (Dale Jr. is one of them).

ReplyDeleteWhew!! That sounds fun!! He was Wesley's favorite driver when he was 4. He only wanted our pastor and Jeff to come to his birthday party! The pastor came and brought a JG car! I hope you had fun. I know you need a day off!

ReplyDeleteNascar is trying very hard to break into the NYC market and wanted to open a racetrack in Staten Island but sadly was ultimately turned down as the boroughs are already too crowded to add to congestion. I would have liked to be able to see some races.
