Chocolate Covered Strawberries

What I did today.
Yum!
And yes, I had to test one.
Okay, okay. I tested four. :)

Melt Ghirardelli dark chocolate in the microwave. Dip strawberries. Set on parchment paper.

Enjoy.

  1. There is something so sexy about chocolate covered strawberries. Especially if they don't look like the pizza guy!

  2. Yummy!!! Do you need a second taste tester? :)

  3. Wow weren't kidding when you said you were up to your elbows
    And the cat knows
    That you tested four
Just to break your elbows free of the chocolate covered strawberry tour
Look so much better than Pee Wee Herman too
But I'm sure that you knew

  4. Silver ~ I almost dipped Caesar in chocolate, but let Alex eat him without the dip. ha.

    Rebecca ~ sure...please have a few. I made extra. :)

    ReplyDelete
  5. I could make sure they were...you know....safe.....for everyone else. :)

    ReplyDelete
  6. Did you save any for me? They're really good, when washed down with champagne...

  7. Pat ~ I believe I told you I was up to my neck,
    but what the heck.
I had a lot to do
which was the point I was making to you.
Even chocolate wouldn't help poor Pee Wee
    and that's a sight I wouldn't want to see.
    I'd offer you one
but don't want you to run.
    ha.

  8. Silver, there's someone sitting on my lap calling you Grandpa again.
    hee hee

    ReplyDelete
  9. Of course, Silver...that is if Rebecca hasn't um...taken them all...for safe keeping. :)

    ReplyDelete
  10. Oh no, he can have some--he must be pretty nice if a sweet innocent little boy thinks he's Grandpa. :)

    ReplyDelete
  11. Notice that I didn't call him sweet.....he doesn't like that......I called him NICE. :)

    ReplyDelete
  12. Is that little guy helping you type? :)

    ReplyDelete
  13. hey I have some in the fridge! Perhaps I should cover them in chocolate too. They look delish!

    ReplyDelete
  14. Hi, Martha!~ yes, do! Quick, easy and oh so yummy. :)

    ReplyDelete
  15. Yes he's helping, but he ran away to share a snack with Daddy. :)

    ReplyDelete
  16. Well, the kin d of atmosphere I'm envisioning for strawberries and champagne probably wouldn't suit any little kids wanting their Grandpas. I picture a dark room lit by only a fireplace...

    ReplyDelete
  17. What do you mean? Kids love dark rooms and fireplaces....they could make blanket tents and s'mores! lol...

    ReplyDelete
  18. And wrestle with their Grandpa in front of the fire. :)

(I'm laughing so hard I'm gonna fall off my chair)

  20. Wow, it must be true that married people lose all their thoughts of romance. So sad...

    ReplyDelete
  21. Well, in my scenario, there are no kids allowed.

No chairs for anyone to fall off of, either. Just a couple of people on the floor by the fire...

    ReplyDelete
  22. Hey, who said married people aren't romantic?

Kids just sort of warp your sense of humor. :) Come to think of it I was rather warpy before kids......

    ReplyDelete
  23. OK..have to admit that does sound romantic with the strawberries and champagne. Hope you have a warm rug there on the floor so she's comfortable.

    ReplyDelete
  24. Oh, yes, a nice, thick rug. It would have to be, because of what she's wearing. That's why they're so close to the fire, too.

    ReplyDelete
  25. Rebecca, I'm sure you always had a bit of the warped side to you. :)
