Sorry Betsy, I deleted because I missed out a word. However I meant to say.... He did a great job, it adds a 'sweet' element to the plain window sill. ;)
I always love it when you post one of the pictures of the boys orderliness traits. It tickles me. I think it's usually Alex though.
I don't blame him for lining up the grape ones. He probably didn't want to eat those because they are the yucky ones, along with grape kool-aid and everything else that tastes like grape medicine. :) I'd just like to know where the yummy red ones are!
Seriously, there is a gallery here in town that had something very similar to this on display over the summer...They were glass objects, but arranged in much the same way on a ledge in the window.
"Edible architecture"--ha! That is so funny. Love it.
Well, you know I could easily see this in the Tate or something. It looks like a modern art display. Quite artistic in its own way. now, the only thing is I hope for your sake, having just finished, he doesn't lick them then stick them back down in the same spot!
Mmm ~ oh, you have no idea the number of sticky sucker's I've peeled and washed off of things around here...hundreds, I'm sure! LOL! Fortunately, these weren't sticky.
Are they chestnuts??
ReplyDeleteOtin ~ they're grape tootsie pops. (read the title..hint, hint!)

When I frist read your title, I thought "Suckers on the Sill" was a Country song.
ReplyDeleteNow I see it was the title to an art project.
What a nice arrangement. Is purple his favorite color?
ReplyDeleteWhat a sweetie! No pun intended!! They look kinda cool lined up like that...and it made for an interesting photo.
ReplyDeleteThey actually look kinda festive. I think Spencer has some creative talents!
ReplyDeleteI thought I was looking at a modern art exhibit. Very cool.

ReplyDeleteMakes me think of an ant trail at a picnic seeing them all lined up like that.
ReplyDeleteJanelle ~ maybe he has some talent! I should send him off to you for a week to develop that artsy side!
ReplyDeleteKayren ~ Harry would have eaten all the red ones! Spencer's favorite are the brown. Alex doesn't eat them at all. :)

My kids found a way to put cookies in my shoes as soon as they learned to crawl.
OH grape.... I love the brown ones.
ReplyDeleteDid they get stuck.....on the sill?
Absolutely the perfect accent piece. Pieces. Perfectly placed too.
