“Wish on everything. Pink cars are good, especially old ones. And stars of course, first stars and shooting stars. Planes will do if they are the first light in the sky and look like stars. Wish in tunnels, holding your breath and lifting your feet off the ground. Birthday candles. Baby teeth.”

I'm not a pink person, but I should be after looking at these photos. And I love your header...I would love to spend an afternoon with my blog friends.
ReplyDeleteI've always been a pink person, so would fit in nicely to your theme.
ReplyDeleteEven the breast cancer ribbon was in my color. :)
The pictures are so cool, I love the variety and different shades of pink!
What kind of car is that? I thought perhaps an old Chrysler Imperial but it's even too old for me!!!
ReplyDeleteNow I'm getting back to you because you gave me my idea for TT. Didn't have one before I read your post.
ReplyDeleteThanks!
That pink cupcake looks yummy! You know, my kids would be clueless how to use that phone. :)
ReplyDeleteLove the pink princess phone and the flamingo. I have never seen one in the landing position...very cool.
ReplyDeleteCali Girl ~ haha...ok...glad to help out there.
ReplyDeleteI think the pink car is a Thunderbird...not positive, though.
Cat ~ the bird is a Roseate Spoonbill...isn't it cool?

Nsnny ~ my parents had one of those pink phones back in the 50's!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful pink representations... makes me smile!
ReplyDeleteSome beautiful shots there... and you had to include a sugary, Death-to-Diabetic-David cupcake there, didn't you? ;-)
ReplyDeleteDavid ~ I SWEAR it's made with Splenda! :)
ReplyDeleteIs wishing on pink cars an American thing? I have never come across it over here, but there again I can't remember the last time I saw a pink car.
ReplyDeleteGreat pinks. Especially the sky.
ReplyDeleteAlan ~ I think it must be American...I'll have to do some research! I'd never heard of it either. That, or the holding your breath and lifting your feet through a tunnel. I thought we were supposed to do that one while driving by cemeteries so the spirits wouldn't get us! LOL!
ReplyDeleteI am surprised at the pink telephone. I thought sure if anybody had a pink bathroom it would be the first few ladies I visted today, but not one yet. LOL
ReplyDeleteIn the age, when tiled model home bathrooms came in white, blue, green and pink, we chose green and still got the set. It still looks pretty good too.
I think the pink rose on the cupcake is lovely. I would like that for a snack.
Oh wow, that sunrise/set is gorgeous and I went aww at the mittens.. and yummm at the cupcake!!
ReplyDeleteNice pics!!
