So, as I was saying last evening, Taylor's friend Daniel is deathly scared of mice. We finally caught ours in a trap and Taylor wanted to save it to scare Daniel. He laid it on a plate in the cupboard so when the hungry college student came to the kitchen for a bite to eat, he would be greeted by said dead mouse. Well, as the evening went on, Daniel didn't want anything to eat! So, Plan B had to come into play. Taylor called Daniel into the kitchen and Daniel walks in to see Taylor holding the plate. He's running his cell phone video in the other hand and a chase begins. After a few seconds, Taylor drops his cell and the plate to minimize distractions, takes the mouse by the tail, and the chase continues! Most of the video is of our ceiling fan, but the audio is worth the listen. ha! They both eventually stop from exhaustion and laughing (or screaming) and Taylor flings the mouse at Daniel! Nobody can find the mouse...because it actually stuck to his shirt! (more screaming!) So, all in all a funny prank! I wonder what Daniel will do for revenge!? Maybe I'll get lucky and it won't happen here at home! LOL!
Just dropped by to say hello. Hope all is well at your home. Strider
ReplyDeleteStrider! Hey, it's great to see you. Hope you are doing well, too...thanks for the visit! :)

ReplyDeleteIs that you laughing in the background? I would have been out the door in seconds flat.
ReplyDeleteNo mouse stories but one night when our kids were young we went to bed and hubby started yelling like crazy. He jumped up and turned on the light. He pulled back the covers every so carefully, to reveal.... a half eaten bananna with peel. Evidently somebody hadn't like their breakfast.
Dawn ~ yes, that's me laughing. I guess if I was the victim, I wouldn't have been! ha! The banana story is hilarious!
ReplyDeleteYour home is so full of fun and laughter. You let the boys be boys!
ReplyDeleteThey will always remember that.
Titled: Fun at Betsy's house!!!
ReplyDeleteIt sounded like someone doing mouse squeaks at the end. I wondered if Taylor was taunting Daniel or it was just some weird sounds coming through.
ReplyDeleteI certainly hope the revenge doesn't take place at your house!
Sounds like my house on any given day!
ReplyDeleteThank you for a good laugh on a Wednesday morning.;) Indeed, I wonder what the revenge will be.;)

ReplyDeleteI have to say you are one great sport to go along with this prank taking place in your house/kitchen! I couldn't do it. I think it was worth the laugh!
They do say that revenge is a dish best served cold. But I always like my mice roasted and served with chips.
ReplyDeletePoor Daniel, that sounded painful. Taylor is going to have to watch his baaaaaack now. ha ha
ReplyDeleteHahahaha. That's all I have to say really.
ReplyDeleteICK!!!!
ReplyDeletePoor, poor Daniel!!!

ReplyDeleteOH how funny.... was that you laughing??? I wonder to what extent Daniel will get his revenge?
ReplyDeleteLife would be so boring without these light and fun moments.
Thanks for sharing the followup!
That is too funny!
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh, that is so funny. I love the shrill screams from grown men! ha. And that must be your laughter in the background too. You are a good sport! I'm not sure i would have been quite as relaxed with dead vermin being tossed around.
