Lovely! Looks yummy and reasonably easy. Enjoy your dinner!
ReplyDeleteI love chicken pie. Unfortunately 2 or my 3 men (the two short ones) wrinkle their noses when it's served. One day, when they're in college, they'll be wishing for my chicken pie! Isn't it a good chilly evening dinner?!
ReplyDeleteMG ~ Yes, hopefully they will catch on before college! :) It is especially good on a chilly evening! I was thinking of all the fall foods I haven't made since the winter...mmmmmm....they are all sounding so good! I even had a cup of tea after dinner instead of the traditional summer icecream!
ReplyDeleteMuseswings ~ it is easy....and using a food processor to make the crust makes it really fast!
ReplyDeleteDang that looks good. I'm heading to the kitchen for some chips or something!!!
ReplyDeletethat looks so amazing and perfect for these cooler nights. Only trouble is it makes me hungry and I need to turn in soon!
ReplyDeleteI love chicken and all the stuff that goes into it but I can't eat pie. Suffer terribly with heartburn.
ReplyDeleteCJ xx
This looks scrumdilly! I'm always so ready for the seasonal food this time of year, aren't you?!
ReplyDeleteStrider ~ Well, what do you know! I posted food that you like! ;)
ReplyDeleteMmm~ isn't that the worst...surfing the blogs late at night and looking at FOOD! ha-ha!
ReplyDeleteWillow ~ Oh, yes! That's one of the best things about fall...all the autumnal food that goes with it....it all sounds so good! I had Chai tea last night and thought how much like fall it tasted!
ReplyDeleteCrystal Jigsaw ~ hmmmm....heartburn would spoil it for sure!
ReplyDeleteHappy Saturday Betsy! This looks so delicious - I can taste it.
ReplyDeleteThere is a bakery within a stone's throw of me (very dangerous indeed!) that has wonderful pot pies. Two of my favourites are "steak and stout" and "fitches" which is apple, caramelized onion and bacon. Yummy.
Chai tea is great, isn't it - and the aroma is heavenly.
Suza ~ that Fitches pie sounds soooo good...and fall-ish! I may have to try to bake one of those!
ReplyDeleteI love chicken pie on a cold day! It's something I like to order in restaurants....never tried the homemade version....
ReplyDeletei love chicken pot pie and yours looks scrumptious!
ReplyDeleteLavinia ~ you should try it...not really hard at all!
ReplyDeleteTrish ~ I wish it wasn't all gone...the leftovers are great, too!
ReplyDeleteFirst of our, how on earth do you know soooooo people who comment on your blog?
ReplyDeleteSecondly, I just know you're the reason I've started cooking more! Not only that, but I've started trying new recipes. Not always the best idea with the kids, but we manage. Thank heaven for PB&J (and honey).
Fragilemom ~ hi there! Well, it's funny how the bloggy family grows! Actually, I go to my own profile, click on one of my interests and then blogger pulls up a list of others with that same connection. I go around and say hello...that's how I met most of my blog friends.
ReplyDeleteHey, I'm honored that I've made you cook! ha-ha! I love to cook, as you can tell. And you know, my triplets with their autistic weirdnesses don't eat my cooking. Well, my Alex will try most anything but the other two never do! Have a great weekend, Donna!
Oh, I love chicken pot pie--it's one of the best comfort foods!
ReplyDeletethis looks soooooo good!
ReplyDeleteThis looks like such a good meal and so easy using the prepared chicken I love those rotisserie chickens and buy one once a week to bring over to my Mom's --she is 86 and doesn't cook much anymore.
ReplyDeleteThanks for another idea on what to do with one of those chickens.
Pat ~ aren't those chickens great? They're inexpensive and can be used for so many things! I love to use them in soup, chicken salad, pie....makes cooking a good meal so easy!
