I love bananas but these would do me for quite a while.

One thing I do in the summer is peel a bunch of bananas, slice them and freeze the slices. It is so nice on a hot, humid day to have something icy and tasty. I do the same for green grapes. It's from scratch and quite wholesome, and they turned out super-moist. Great use of bananas that get over-ripe, although I see by your comment above that that doesn't happen in your place. You know you might want to ask your grocer if they've got over-ripe bananas in the back of the store that he'd be willing to sell you. That's what I do when I have a craving for banana baking but no over-ripe bananas on hand.Laviniahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08810442216887536113noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1357105223288312642.post-3528383571990385662009-03-05T10:13:00.000-05:002009-03-05T10:13:00.000-05:00I don't buy that many bananas, but I guess I buy t...I don't buy that many bananas, but I guess I buy that many of other things...maybe not quite, but close. But mine aren't all teenagers yet either, or boys.

Plus I don't get strange looks like 'do you have a large family' looks, because I often have them with me. I get the 'are they all yours' question, like I'd go out canvassing the neighborhood picking up stray kids just for some extra fun at the store. Although I don't get it as much as when they were all very small and I was traipsing along with them, which made the question make even LESS sense.Kayrenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08735245416162284974noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1357105223288312642.post-73335393916826557202009-03-05T09:55:00.000-05:002009-03-05T09:55:00.000-05:00Gee, I only got three but our consumptions are jus...Gee, I only got three but our consumptions are just a bit over than yours..Loida of the 2L3B'shttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13021591376131650627noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1357105223288312642.post-25609348710696923572009-03-05T09:32:00.000-05:002009-03-05T09:32:00.000-05:00MG ~ Isn't that something!
