Fall Foyer Table

cell phone photography

I finally put the red, white and blue away from the summer
holidays and brought out a little fall decor for the foyer
table!  I feel a little late getting this done but am enjoying
the change!  I said on Instagram that the white pumpkins
have a Cinderella story.  They were lowly things laying in a
bin at Wal-mart and then they got to come home with me
and get a jeweled crown and a special place under an
antique dome.  So fun!

    1. The Mister bought me that woodpecker print. I didn't like it at first but it has
grown on me a lot. Looks really good in that spot. I agreed completely with you
that fall is finally here and that is a GOOD thing. haha.

  4. Oh Betsy, I love your Fall Table. The Bird painting is wonderful and makes such a pretty backdrop for your special goodies. I think it's time for white pumpkins. They look great under the dome. I see that little birdie on the pine cone. Sweet.

    1. It would only be appropriate that I have a bird print, right? haha.

    2. I'm partial to woodpeckers as the first time I spoke in front of a group was 1st grade and my poem was about woodpeckers. "The woodpecker pecked out a little round hole, and made him a home in the telephone pole." The end. HaHa.

    1. I find it too much to decorate an entire house like some people do each season.
My little foyer table is just enough for me.
Isn't fall beautiful!? The deep blue sky and lower humidity is just wonderful!
We're still waiting for the leaves to turn here. Very soon!

      but I had to endure
so a few things I bought
as through the aisles I trot. lol.

  9. Very lovely vignette. I see the candy corn is gone! We've been enjoying our candy corn stash from last year already. We buy it at the end of the season when the bags are like $.20. Because it's Brach's candy, it still tastes yummy!

    1. hmm...is the expiration date still good? I only buy Brachs, too. It's the best.
The candy corn was too bright to go with the look. I know, I'm ocd. haha. It moved to the
kitchen where I can nibble on it easier. lol.

    2. Ha! No, the expiration date says Feb. but we haven't had any problems in three plus years! Still tastes just as fresh!

  14. Very nice! Around my place it's felt more like summer than fall, so it's been hard for me to get in the autumn decorating groove.

    1. It wasn't all that long ago when pumpkins were only orange. haha.
And I still put an orange one on the front porch. But the white ones
sure to lend themselves to a variety of decoration choices! Very fun!

  18. A perfect white pumpkin fairy tale. I got some this year too and my new little grand daughter loved it. Happy Fall! I didn't do much either but that's ok, Thanksgiving will be here before we know it.
