First Frost

We were only in the 30's (F) when we woke up!
A beautiful fall morning, requiring robe, slippers,
extra coffee and a quick sneak outside
to snap a photo. :)

    1. It's a wonderful time of year! Our leaves haven't peaked yet...they've just started! I'm glad it's going slow and not all over with early. Some years are like that...color, rain and wind and it's gone! ha.

  4. Oh, my! It's been chilly at night here, but no frost yet. As a matter of fact, the forecast for the next ten days has it comfortably above that temperature.

  10. I know I shouldn't, but I always welcome the sight of the first frost with its promise of icy clear mornings and warm fires. Eventually the reality - wet sleet and excessive heating bills - catches up on me.
