Iced Coffee

Some summer days it's too warm to finish my pot of
coffee.  On those days, it gets poured over ice!
Sometimes a little extra cream gets added, too!

  1. Yummmy I like the swirling motion getting that cream in place. HaHa...I love doing that too. I add my Italian sweet cream....taste like dessert.

    1. Some days are hot and then some just perfect:) I weeded the garden this afternoon and I thought it felt hot so the iced coffee hit the spot.

    1. Gotta have that little buzz

  5. I've been having ice coffe lately, too. I'm like you, when it's hot out...I can't handle hot coffee, well except that first cup of the morning. The hazelnut creamer is really good in it. If it wouldn't keep me up all night, I would go fix a glass now.

    1. Yeah, if I'm in the A/C, I'm fine but outside it's just too warm! haha. I have to stop the caffeine
by 5pm if I want to fall asleep at night.

  7. Looks great! I really should try making iced coffee sometime - it's not something we really think of doing, though I've always enjoyed it when out and about. Also, impressed by the animated effect and enjoyed the poetic exchange, above.

    1. Just use the leftover coffee from the morning...so easy! Or...you probably have a pot of tea instead of coffee in the morning, right?

  8. I could have done with a glass of that today.

  10. Coffee? pffft! Around these here parts we drink iced lemon tea when it's hot and sunny. I haven't had any recently, so that tells you what the weather is like!

  12. I have seen posts that suggest adding condensed milk to iced coffee for a creamy taste. We should try it . . .
