  2. OH NO!

At least tissues are easier to take care of then lip balm left in a pocket.

    1. Yes, gum is pretty bad, too. We don't chew a lot of it, though.

    2. It's the dryer that makes gum so horrible. lol.....hasn't happened here in a long while, though.

    1. It all went into the dryer lint trap! Hurrah! lol....

  5. That happens here too. Grandma goes through a lot of tissues and sometimes they get left in her jeans pockets or drop into her laundry basket. I let the lint trap catch most of it too.

    2. Much! Thankfully, the boy that used to leave gum in his pocket is now out of the house. lol....

  6. I am not very good about checking the pockets. You would think I had learned my lesson by now, but no! lol This has happened to me countless times!!

    1. The boys don't use their pockets...ever! So this was a complete shock. He did have a nosebleed at school, so I think a teacher put that in his pocket. lol...not that he'd ever pull it out and use it, though...not when his sleeve is so convenient. haha.

    1. Do you peak in the washer at their clothes? ha.

    2. No. I live in an apartment building with one common laundry room. And when they leave stuff in their pockets during the wash, it messes up the next few loads.

      Delete
    3. I know where you live, silly. If you wipe out the washer before using it, that won't happen. :)

    4. I do wipe it out when it happens. I'm just saying that they leave the mess for the next person or two. That's how I know.

    5. If you wipe it out, how does it mess up the next few loads?

    6. I wipe it out. Everyone doesn't. They just put up nasty signs telling people not to leave paper in their pockets.

  13. You put a great big smile on my face. I've done this a few times myself.
PS: Always remember to clean the dryer vent filter with every load.

    1. Yes, that's a great tip and I've gotten into the habit of doing it after every load....and this time it really needed it! :)

  14. I don't think I have ever had this happen to me, but my Mom sure did with my two brothers. Always something interesting in their pockets! Not sure if it's just me... but can't seem to view different posts without leaving your blog entirely then coming back in again. Usually when you click on the header it takes you back to the most recent post, but that is not the case. Odd.

  15. Ho, ho! I can't even guess how many times this has happened in those child rearing years! Actually it still does if I'm not diligent about doing the pocket check! Have a lovely New Year's weekend!
