Good for you...nice fresh pillows!I'm pretty sure I've seen one of the cats eat a grasshopper....and plenty of cicadas, too. ew. haha.Yay..you're first. Pat will say Pffft!
Im sure this Little is welcome to your Zoo lol
Nope! haha....have to draw the line somewhere! ;)
Pffft just for youAt your zoo
He has a death wise I'd sayIt would be chow time at your bay
Wish I meanAt your scene
He doesn't knowas his brain is slowthat he would not lastas the cats would eat him fast!
You haven't named him yet? I think he's been working out...did you see those abs. HaHa.
hahahahahaha.....why, yes, he IS ripped, isn't he?
hey...and he has a 6 pack, too!
Great shot! You really captured the detail on him!
It took a few attempts...my camera kept wanting to focus on the tree behind him!
haha, invite one in and they will bring all their friends....just saying....be prepared...look what happened with the cats..lol
Oh, don't worry...no invitation was given! :)
Betsy, just say NO! :) grasshoppers have even more friends and family members than kitties.
I did! Well, I added a 'sorry!' to it...lol.... No grasshoppers for me. Although, when I was about 10 years old, I had pet caterpillars. They spun cocoons on my bedroom furniture and hatched later on. Oh geesh. That sounds so gross to me now! haha.
I am sure the cats would like to play with him!
Oh yeah...'play'. haha.
Looks like he'd make quite the meal!
Seriously? No thanks! ha.
For one of your cats, not for you, silly!
Great photo, the detail is amazing. He wouldn't be welcome in our house I'm scared of grasshoppers! He would get the hop off if he came here. xx
Well, I'm not afraid of them, but they still aren't welcome. No insects allowed in the zoo. ha.
When I lived in AR we used to get them come in under the back door and I cannot tell you what I did to them!
So, you're scared of them because there could be an uprising? The Revenge of the Grasshoppers or something like that? lol....
Noooooo, just scared of jumpy runny insecty type things, spiders, grasshoppers, worms.... Wimp!
I'm not a fan of spiders. My fear has greatly diminished but I still don't do well with them. lol.... I had pet worms when I was a little girl. ha.
mmmm lunch lolDid you see McGill University is making a study on these crickets as the future food group?Crickets, grubs, worms. Why not? On the lion king they said it tastes like chicken lol
Well, I know they do in other countries. Not sure I could take a bite, though. ha.
I hope you directed him to the local ant hill. As the story goes he will find winter refuge there. :)
I'll remember that if he stops by again. :)
The cats may not eat him but they just might use him for a play thing to bat around. I think I'd move on if I were him! ha
I gave him that advise! :)
No you can't come in unless you mind being a play thing for the cats. hahaha. Those things are the reason I refuse to go into a garden when it grows in. eek. Speaking of these creatures, I was purchasing Mums *yes finally* and I picked up a couple and as I was placing them on the cart to pay there happen to be a huge grasshopper sitting down in the middle of one. Well. I screamed and tossed the thing straight up. Some guy standing close caught it as it came down. My heart was flying. He started laughing when he realized why I threw the mum. Then he told me I scared it to death. Good! I said and I did not buy the one with the GHopper. :D I hate bugs of any kind. JaG
lol....you are a hoot. You should write a book...or a blog. ha.
What a great shot Betsy! I don't think you miss much that's going on around your little zoo huh? =)
haha....well, he was on the kitchen window in front of the sink...kinda hard to miss him! lol....
That photo kinda FREAKS me out! It looks absolutely ALIEN! I hope one of the cats ate him as a SNACK!
I suppose there could be room for some more, it's a shame it looks so creepy haha!
