Famous Folks' Felines

Marlon Brando
1924-2004
American screen and stage actor.

I loved this picture.
On the couch with the typewriter just like we do now with out laptops!

And you might be interested to know that the cat in this opening
scene of The Godfather was a stray found by Brando on
the lot at Paramount!

Hmm...I think he and I share a fondness for stray cats!

  1. Gosh, Betsy, the third shot made me jump when Marlon started to move!!! LOL, I had no idea it was a movie!! . . . . and I thought his piccie was coming to life.

So that's why he had a low quiet voice . . . he was so used to talking to his cats LOL

    Nice topic

That's a cinemagram! Isn't that cool? Just a few seconds of movie. Much more fun than a still shot!

  4. haha both have a thing for strays
Except you could have way more for one to gaze
As on screen they wouldn't all fit
    Not one bit haha

  11. Very interesting, what kind of men turn out to be cat lovers!- And a new stray cat turned up at my doorstep a few days ago! A rather dark tortoise one and I am sure she is a sister/child/cousin of Mimi! I have seen this cat a few times during last winter in the deserted apple garden, Mimi came from. And the new one looks like many female cats we have watched being born there over the years. The old cat now presiding over that garden and one very shy tomcat would not let her live their. My friend one day saw the nasty old aunt throwing the younger one down steep stone stairs out there. After that the abused cat had vanished. And how did she now find my house which is quite far from that valley? What about your theory about their communication network?!
    Have a nice week!

    1. Oh, now I am smiling! I think Mimi sent you that kitty! You needed a sweet new one to bring some happiness to your hurting heart! Yes, I swear there is a communication network...they spread the news as to where to go for good care. :) I hope to see photos soon of your new little orphan!

    1. Aw, Sprinkles! Go find yourself a kitty! There are millions of them that need a good home...go get one from a shelter and save it from being put down. It will love you forever and you will have done a good thing. Aren't they such good company? Unconditional love. :)
