Too cute.I let Jasmine outside today and she fell face first in the snow. She was wearing a beard too.
I didn't go out at all today! We got 4 inches of fresh snow just this afternoon!
Nice picture Betsy:)
They were searching for seed....the feeders were empty!
oh your dinner restaurant is always so busy! LOLI love the bird with beard :))
haha, that's cute! I was trying to get a decent picture of all the Cardinals in the tree today but the pergola and the deck railing are always in the way. They were beautiful against the snow. 12 of them... again!
I had twelve, too! 6 couples! I got some photos of the whole tree, but they aren't that great. It was more fun to see them in person...and you're right, they really did glow out there!
Oh cool! I have always loved watching the winter birds. Even as a young child.
HaHaHa...Oh that's just too funny. I needed that smile today, rather tired after all the running around and visiting.
You need a buggle bath and a good night's sleep! :) Hostessing is exhausting, even if it is fun! :)
Gonna take your advice....think I'll add a candle...Sigh....
wonderful idea....I might do the same!
I knew that bird, so I know what really happened, which was this. The other birds were always picking on him, and one of them had just hit him in the beak with a snowball. He was looking down at the time, and when the photo was made, he had just looked up to see who had thrown the snowball. As usual, the other birds were all feigning innocence, so he never did know the identity of the culprit He did realize, however, that it could have been any of them. He has since left my life, and the last I heard of him, he was still in therapy and had been involuntarily committed twice.
haha...oh, now that is a much more interesting story than I had. Poor little bird! So there is bullying even among our feathered friends? I'll have to teach them the rules of my yard! :)
lol I like this one!
haha...isn't he cute?
:-)Enjoy your week-end !Pierre
thank you...enjoy yours, too! :)
Maybe that bird wishes he was one of the Duck Dynasty folk. thanks for the funny
haha...he does look like that!
hahaha what a capture...fun picture...we are covered in snow right now ourselves....made it home from school though with only a bit of fright at the roads...been out playing and my beard might have looked similar at some point...
