Full Moon

The moon was 100% full tonight and looked like a frosty
orange in the sky.  I had to stop on my way home from the
auction and take some photos!  Wow!

The auction was great...although crazy and busy!
I brought home a few treasures!
I'll show you tomorrow!

    1. yep, going to make you wait
as my head hurts and the loot is in a crate
      still sitting in my Jeep
not going to make a peep
until I bring it in tomorrow
I know that causes you sorrow.
You won't believe what I got for free.
come back then and have a look-see!
      hahaha.

    2. As always I will
      You should pop a pill
Then the hurt may be gone
Or you could pass out on the lawn haha

    3. many pills I've popped today
while I was at the auction bay
      but it's finally feeling better
so no need to faint on the lawn in my sweater.
      lol.

  4. What a gorgeous moon...still my heart! Will be fun to see what trash treasures you got this time around.

I got a little tray for $1.49 at the thrift store, real cute..some birds on it so it reminded me of you. If you go to my "Other Blog" there is a picture of it at the bottom.

    1. It WAS a lovely night...and this morning was lovely, too. I had to take the boys to school as The Mister had an early meeting. The moon was still out...smaller and higher and white...but still very bright. Thick sparkly frost, too...love that!

    2. sounds lovely! hope you have a great day! any more baking gonna happen today?

      Delete
    3. No baking....I have etsy things to pack and ship...and a mountain of laundry...and dirty bathrooms...and a filthy kitchen floor. ha. Somebody needs to clean up around here...and that would be me, I guess, since I'm home alone! lol...Looking forward to a quiet day at home puttering around here, though.

      What about you?

    4. Betsy you need a little elf to clean for you while you are at auctions. :)

      Delete
    5. haha...I know! I'm always saying I wish I could clone myself! But The Mister was good enough to leave work early to meet the school bus. And then when I got home 2 hours later, he had fed the boys dinner, cleaned up the kitchen, gave them all a bath, had them in the jammies and had put away some of the bigger things I bought at Sams Club the day before. Then he was off to a dinner as soon as I walked in. Still...I'd take a little elf! lol....

    6. Aww so sweet that he did all that for you--makes the load a little lighter doesn't it? My niece cleans for me while I'm at a birth parent visit on Friday. Sometimes I feel guilty, but most of the time I just feel relieved. I can only do so much.

    7. I think he is really sweet betsy, and cleaned up the kitchen, can you say betsy if wanna stopping by here ?? LOL

      Delete
    8. haha...well, some days I'd like to send him somewhere! lol....but yes, he's very good about doing dishes and caring for the boys. He is not allowed, however, to touch the laundry! hahaha!

      Delete
    9. dear nobody is perfect I will br happy if someone love the dishes! ha!

  9. Beautiful! Betsy, do you take your camera everywhere? You'd think me being a mom I'd remember and I never do. What's your trick to remembering?

    Shari

    1. Thanks, Shari! I do take my camera everywhere...it's just become a habit...throw it in my purse just like we do our cell phones....and it's always out on my desk in the kitchen beside my purse, so it's easy to remember. ha. I think bloggers think of cameras like that. :)

  10. Glad I got to see the beautiful moon from your point of view...nothing but cloud cover here..
Had a few flurries today, but nothing stayed..
Supposed to be stormy on Friday...guess the cottage will have to wait until Saturday..
    Big warm up coming :o)
As per your #17...I also picked up a few stuffers today..as well as fabric to make Vivian a stocking!!!

Enjoy the rest of your evening..

    Cheers!

    2. Oh yes!!!!
      Me Too!!!
Sometimes I think I spend more effort on that...than on the other gifts!!!
For years, I did all the stockings, and I never got anything in mine!!!
      SO....about 10 years ago...I said...Heyyyy...I never get anything!!!
SO...now...we each do each others stockings, and really get some funny little things...
Supposed to be a $5 limit...but that never happens!!! ha ha ha...
Enjoy your day, Betsy...I am on cat duty again today...Off i go...
Wiht Vivian and her Mom in tow...and getting my tree today...

      YAY....

      Cheers!
      Linda :o)

    3. It's been a long time joke in our family that I never get anything in my stocking! Then The Mister started stuffing one of my gifts in my stocking. He just didn't get the art of filling a stocking! ha. Still doesn't really. So, I've started filling my own! lol. Oh dear. At least I like what I get. :) And he still puts a gift in there...so I guess that's double the pleasure. lol....

      sounds like a fun day...enjoy!

  15. Well it is raining here and so maybe a orange moon is better than a blue moon. We need the rain so much. And truly you have a great camera.

    God bless.

  21. I saw that gorgeous orange moon tonight too Betsy. Could just stare at it for a long time. Great photo of it. Hubby and I laughed as we remembered telling friends years ago when there was a full moon we were 'sparkin' under it. Now we just stare at it together. Atleast we're together right? Fine by me...=)
