Apparently, Harry wants to go somewhere!

Thankfully, later today, the pool went up in the backyard.
Now he'll probably want the shoes off!

  2. Well at least he is direct
And doesn't want to suffer feet neglect
    So bring on the shoes
    Even if they will lose
When the pool comes into play
    On each sunny day

    1. I'm hoping the shoe request will fly out the door
and he won't ask it any more
as swimming should be lots of fun
as the summer has just begun.
And watching them swim at home
is better than watching them through the city roam.
      haha.

    2. Yes, they all love to swim. We didn't have a pool last summer, so it's been a while. I think they are excited! :)

    3. Is absolutely nice they have a pool now!

    4. yes,..they love their computers so much...we need something fun outdoors for them.
I think it will take all night to fill with water, though! ha.

    5. Sure the pool will take it off their mind
Just makes sure no kitty falls in with their behind
      That would suck indeed
      So they should take heed
And of course hopefully they don't try to bring their laptops out too
The laptops would fry and that wouldn't due
      But a pool is grand
Although lots of work to keep going at ones land
With the shock and cleaning and all that stuff
Maybe mister neighbor guy will throw away his tighty whities and strut over for a swin in the buff...LMAO
      Oh that just popped in
      What a sin

    6. Him in my pool
      would not be cool.
      Whities or not
      I would be distraught.
      lol

    7. LMAO yeah that'd be a sight
      And a big fright
But would make a great blog post
As you give him a roast

    8. Skinny dipping in my water
      would really make me holler!
He's begun his own series here
Like Flappy has on your blog so dear.
Some people make the best posts
and it's so easy to be the host.
But if he ever found out about me
I'd have to escape to Bush #3!

    9. hahaha yeah if Flappy ever found out
I'd never hear the end of her shout
      That is why the nickname
So at least I can pretend it wasn't her that got fame
Although she is too dumb to find out
So I don't have to worry about such a shout

  5. gotta love a guy who knows what he wants. haha

a pool will be nice! Serena keeps begging me to go into ours with her, but I HATE how cold the water still is! Maybe sometime this summer, IF it actually warms up I'll consider going in :)

    1. We've had summers where the pool water never got that warm! The cool nights would cool it down! The boys don't like it cold...and I don't either! Sounds like Serena is braver than us! haha.

    2. she loves the water at any temp basically. she convinced her Dad to go in with her today :) but then she can convince him of most anything. (chuckle)

  6. Do the triplets type messages like this often? It is nice that Harry can make his wishes known.

    Enjoy your pool!

    1. Only if I can't tell what they want. And their communication is only to ask for something...there isn't any other kind of chit chat, unfortunately. But if they can't point to it or say it, it is nice that they can type it. Alex, however, can't type....which makes the mind reading option sound even better! lol.

  9. Hi Betsy .. I sure hope the weather is reasonable or not too hot - please send some over here - it's raining cats and dogs over here .... is that allowed in your house?! The pool sounds an excellent idea for them .. for you with wet everything everywhere .. I'm not so sure ..

Cheers from a very wet and damp England .. Hilary

  10. We must be thankful that there are more ways of communicating than just one. I'm verbal but deaf - typing works for me too! (Thank God for email and texts)

    1. Yes, I knew that! I bet texting is especially wonderful for you!

  11. So sweet that Harry can type what he wants, but mind reading sure would come in handy for you. I hope the boys have a wonderful time with the new pool. And Pat's comment about mister neighbor guy actually made me laugh out loud!!

  12. I'm with Harry--I'd like to go somewhere. :) We are trying a small pool this year--maybe a bigger one next year. I'm actually enjoying it a lot--in spite of all the little legs and feet in there with me. Kind of feels like I'm swimming with an octopus. ha!

    1. I want to go somewhere, too...but without them! hahaha.

Oh I think a pool of any size is wonderful...such a nice break from the heat. We started with a little one and every few years got one to make the growth of the boys.

    2. Maybe you and I should take a trip, and the Mister, and my hubby could hold the fort down at home. :)Hmmm.....where should we go?

    3. Oooh...anywhere! A...NY...WHERE. :)

  13. I want shoe = swimming fins ??

Gosh, I would love a pool. We thought we'd have one when we moved here but MD has protected trees and that meant less property if we had the pool close to the house. It wasn't going to work out well. Oh well, trees are so much better. Hope they enjoy the pool!!

    1. haha...no, shoe just meant shoes and to go somewhere. We hadn't even talked about a pool when he typed that. But he is excited about the pool and watched it getting assembled. :)

  14. Are you taking requests? I want money! haha

  15. I'm going to try that with my husband. I want to go out for dinner. Sounds like a plan. Thanks for the idea, Harry!

    ReplyDelete
  16. What fun! It probably makes it difficult not knowing exactly where he wants to go though. :)

  17. That is so cute, maybe he just saw some he liked.;))

  18. Betsy,
I didn't know the boys liked to swim. I would love to invite them over to swim with us. I have school next week but would love to the next week, if you would let them!!! I am going to miss them terribly next year since, I am not coming back to the school. Mrs Morris, the boys teacher's aide (Cindy)

    1. Well, aren't you sweet! :) I'm sure the boys would love to. They haven't gotten into our pool yet! ha. But it really hasn't been that hot to warm up the water, either. Hopefully by this weekend! Let's plan on that some time...they get bored here at home and I'd love the break!

I heard you weren't coming back but I hope you enjoy your student teaching! :)

    2. I will get with you at the end of next week and we will make the plans. I look forward to having them!!!

  19. How great that Harry can type and communicate that way. Being non-verbal it must have been extremely difficult to learn to read and write?
